There's often a lag when POG has moved up so I reckon there will be some catching up to do soon.

Gold miners is not a big sector so the money is there and retail is now joining the party.

This has to be one of the most pitiful stocks on the LSE with totally useless management if you can call them that as that implies they have exercised management functions.

Gdr is one of the most hopeless stocks on the LSE. Lost over 99% over 5 years and 75% in last 6 months! Why would soneone want to invest in it? There has always been a ramping group controlling that board.

I've never seen anything quite like this on these boards. To repeat the same thing over and over again and be obsessed with a share; not being flippant, it would suggest suggest some mental health issues. It's not normal behaviour. If anyone knows this individual he needs help.

I'm not invested here. Not long ago you were saying Tly had better turnover etc than HVO yet you ignored their debt and profitability.

Hvo has fallen largely, imv, due to the Trump administrations anti vax stance etc. Trump won't be in power forever and policies change.

Unlike your company, investors have lost everything there. This should recover in future.

I've never seen a 1000% to 2000% premium takeover offer or ever heard of one.

Typically, it's 50-100% at most. This is just people trying to ramp up the price to exit.

Generally, all directors of companies have options.

What you have to remember here is that the directors salaries are on the low side yet they are actively managing the portfolio and unlike many investment companies are doing complex deals for example like Ascendant and Golden Sun. Many investment companies.panies just take a stake and then sit back!

It's the NAV that is relevant as that is, as we know greater than the share price at the moment and there are exit events that may surprise bigly on the upside.

What also stands out is the great timing in moving from one metal to another. The purchase of silver and stocks around March 25 it seems when the ratio of gold to silver was 100:1 is brilliant timing. The purchase of bullion then has gone up around 50% so 500k potential profit on paper and more to come. Also the purchase of 2 of the best performing silver stocks this year, Avino and Santacruz (I hold both). These have gone up over 200% and over 400% respectively from March. They tend to buy chunky amounts so nav should be up a good amount.

Golden Sun is the likely monster value creator. As he set out in the video they have a number of options to realise value. An IPO is another one.

Impressed by the focus on value and not overpaying for stocks but at the same time buying stocks that will go up (he mentioned those that are known to the generalist investor or words to that effect) so not like some investment managers that buy obscure unloved stocks because they are "good value" but then see little share price movement!

The copper stocks mentioned have already moved up. Good fund management and they have their ear to the ground.

Yeah surprised how undervalued this appears to be and people are still asleep on this stock.

Covid was a one time event. The share price has just reverted to the normal long term trajectory. Nova was a loss making business in the past with small turnover and it's reverted to that again.

The heady share price rises of the covid era are gone. It will likely remain at these sort of levels over the next few years.

Toffeeman, generally, all the producers have had fantastic share price increases over the last 12 months. Nearly all juniors have a growth story and with the increasing pog, the margin expansion continues. Look at the GDXJ up nearly a hundred percent over the last year.

Compare that with gwmo and it's still down 73% over the last 12 months with the latest increase in share price.

"On the cusp.." we that's been the story for the last 3 years or so.

This will most likely be back begging for more funds before it sells any gold.

They need to start the mill to make any revenue.

Gold and silver stocks have been flying this year - tripling in many cases and people are stuck on this one pumping it when it has failed to deliver anything at all.

Unfortunately, blue sky opportunities like this haven't worked out. I can't think of a company that has succeeded to date in the UK in the last 5 years; there are many including, those mentioned in the post below but also ones like Renx, Verici etc. The barriers to entry are too big to overcome for a small company.

There's also poor management in not raising sufficient funds when the share prices were much higher.

Unheard of for anyone on Wall Street to recommend 20% of gold (includes mining stocks) as part of portfolio allocation.

It's only something like a 2% holding in institutional portfolios.

The generalist investor is still light in their holdings. In August this year there were fund inflows into the GDX.

The Western generalist investor hasn't yet taken part in this gold bull run or at least in any meaningful way yet.

All signs that we are not at a top and this gold bull run is set to continue for some time.

Many commentators are now predicting $5000+ gold.

Gold stocks are still undervalued compared to historical numbers. One commentator mentioned the other day that the last time gold was up 40% (it is this year) mining stocks responded with 3.6 leverage while this time round it's 2.2

So a perfect set up of multiple expansion and growth in turnover due to elevated gold prices.

I don't think it's narrowing the nav yet as the reported figures are only to March 2025. 😂

We've had a fantastic bull run since then so the updated nav is eagerly anticipated.
