well, the distressed seller seems very distressed to me. Been distressed for a long time too! Just when will it end because it's scuppering any increase here.

biggest problem nowadays is the new rainbow chasing ' investor' who can't stick around for more than five minutes. Follow each other around onto the next big thing. Most don't even know what they have invested in. Have not a clue about any company and as for research, well, forget it!

I hope you are right as I think they might have spent a tad more than we think in ramping up etc. I do remember in the last vid Barry said along the lines of a good cash/financial position, so we'll see.

sorry, don't agree it's been priced in at all! I think it's more to do with the shall we say the indifferent update many are expecting this week. Of course, getting on the supplier list means little unless orders follow,...hang around they will!

Threeskins. The fact we are on the supplier list surely means Ygen can compete,.. otherwise they wouldn't have been accepted.. Ygen probably don't have the overheads of these massive outfits for starters. There is room for everyone to get a decent slice imo. Ygen have products and services that the govt likes having been awarded on all lots.

not sure about 10% of lot 3, but I will be happy with just 1% of the whole 4 lots. Well maybe even .5% is very welcome. A cool £120M won't do any harm.

Frankie, if their products and services were not upto scratch then they wouldn't have made it past first base. I don't think the govt mess around with putting companies in there to ''make the numbers up''. Ygen are serious contenders to ''win'' substantial contracts and the upcoming rns's will be interesting!
Just to make it on one lot is very good, to make it on two / three lots is very very good, to make it on all four is exceptional imv, and the company should be blowing it's own trumpet.
If you think about it the govt have budgeted to spend some £450M+ per month on average over maybe the next 4 years. That is a lot of money. Ygen have more opportunities than all bar a couple of other companies. They are in prime position and I'm very confident that finally they will deliver material and maybe game changing revs.

TBF it's not what we all wanted but should still be double digit % lift in revs in the world as it is today. Plenty of outfits would snap your hands off for that. I am optimistic for the next few months and look forward to what the outlook offers up in the update, though overall it will be pretty poor as we know. At least we should get an rns tomorrow.

Threeskins, I wish! Unfortunately nothing is guaranteed. You could end up with nowt. Hopefully that won't be the case as we have four pies to go at, unlike every other company bar two as mentioned.

just had a look to see how many companies are in all four lots. There are only three that I can see, Randox, Immensa Health and Ygen.
The interesting bit about the other two is the very iffy way they got their initial contracts.

Randox, as we know allegedly got in because a certain govt official Owen Patterson is an advisor to Randox.They very quickly managed to secure an order for £130M+ for what turned out to be some pretty useless pcr tests.

Immensa Health are another outfit that came about out of nothing and they quickly secured an order without tender for £119M..Will we ultimately find out they also have govt official help in the background. All sounds very iffy to me!!
