I suppose Ygen must have something to offer the govt otherwise they wouldn't be negotiating I guess. I know there is plenty in the moonshot 'bodget' for pcr testing so we will have to wait and see. Of course we don't really know if this moonshot thing will ever really happen fully as there seems to be plenty of opposition to it.
I think Hayden said the Clarigene test is plenty fast enough and belief is there is plenty of opportunity for everyone it seems.I just hope we get a decent slice of the action!

good point Natdan. With the accuracy of Clarigene it should fit in with govt needs perfectly. I am sure this is why Ygen are now in the frame with the moonshot project. Yes, if the govt need big numbers we can't currently cope with, then licensing could well be a good option!

Just thinking about capacity. What will they do if the test figures with the govt project are silly numbers a day/week. It could well be tens of thousands a week or even more? Do they just say no can do, or say yes, we'll set up a new facility or what?

I couldn't quite catch what was said during the presentation but Lyn mentioned 2million prescriptions were issued last year. Was that anything to do with oncology and DPYD does anyone recall?
