It's completely random and I've had my best year ever. Got the maximum (£50K) and I've won 19 prizes since January totalling £2,350 including a £1K win

My shareholding has disappeared from my portfolio and I have received a sum of money around what I paid for them at the IPO.

I am told that I still own the shares. Is the sum received liable for tax?...and do I really still own the shares?

3 wanted to reduce it to 4.5%.

Hi Skidder....if you paid £20 for your RI shares in 2020 you were done since they were £15 which was a 47% discount

I found it strange that after offloading Costa for £2.9bn they sought to raise more capital in the form of a Rights Issue. For those who subscribed it worked out very well since the current SP is more than double the RI price which I think was about £15 a share.

7% increase to 34.6p per share payable on 6/12/24....£100 m buybacks as well.

I don't think NWG's special is 16.8p. Most of it is most likely to be buybacks which together with the SD will be equivalent to 16.8p

The final dividend to be paid on 24/6/22 is 7.70p so if you add that to the interim of 3.20p already paid then you would get to 10.90p for the year.

Thanks for that drcena. So hopefully we should be getting a dividend sometime later this year. I guess that this might prompt an increase in the SP since the big institutions might get interested. Does the fact that the current SP of £1.12 is more that the recent Tender Offer of £1.05 mean that those who sold have lost out?

Looking back at my records the last time First paid a dividend was way back in February 2013 at the rate of 7.62p per share. This is approaching a decade ago and I was wondering if they have any plans to resume paying them?. I did read somewhere that it was their intention to do so but does anyone know anything definite?.

Perhaps the tender offer price of £1.05 was attractive when it was fixed at a time when the closing price was 93.4p. The difference now is much less and one would forgo the possibility of dividends and further additional distributions alluded to in the RNS. Perhaps the SP will soon go above £1.05....what then?
At the moment I personally can't see any real benefit of selling, but I suppose the SP could be less once the dust has settled.
