I don’t think it’s crazy pricing. I think we are suffering from a considerable moron discount.

Until the management achieve some progress the sp will languish. However if they can monetize, even a small part of, the assets this will fly. How much would the sp be if a6 flows 1000 bopd on test? how much 2000, 3000?

As always the potential is there. They don’t have any excuses left so I think one way or the other we’re entering the end game.

This is primed now, plenty of news and cash to make things happen. I’m going to sell in tranches , first target is 3p for the ones I got pre suspension then every penny I’ll be selling more. I think Somms end of year target is very achievable.

Why bother? What could anyone do? If they wanted to delist they would have just done it. If they can’t get signed off it could still happen but I don’t think it is their plan. All imo.

I couldn’t see any reason for the fall. I have quite a bit of cash, because I fear the ai bubble bursting , so I got some this morning. Plenty of positive news probably coming soon so I backed myself.

I took some more at 1250. A bit of market turbulence is handy. Palm oil is in a sweet spot, food and fuel, people will always need both.

I’m here too until the divi reinstatement. Tui is a multi national, reeves can only do so much damage. A good next update with plans for a divi should put a fire in under the sp.

I disagree, I think gsk is underrated so I approve of the company using spare cash to lower share count. If it leads to a takeover all to the good one way or the other we should see a share price appreciation.

I think it’s telling people aren’t even bothering to complain anymore. They’ve broken the spirit of the pi’s and the factt that Clive has the cheek to say the sp is low because of aim just adds a comedy value to this embarrassment of a company.

Thing is I don’t think a 50p increase would dent sales too much. If you’re going out you’d be hard pressed to find another pub cheaper so if you’d still end up in the spoons if you were trying to save money.

The pubs near our local spoons pretty much price match the spoons, if spoons put their prices up by 50p they’d be over the moon and put up prices by 60.

I think it’s really a stretch to attack the management for not anticipating Covid. Buying back shares at this sp makes a lot of sense, the previous raises are irrelevant. The fca is not great but you know what is? The property portfolio, it hasn’t been revalued since 2000, by my reckoning it’s worth in excess of £3bn. What’s the maket cap again?? Does the debt now seem very manageable?? Jdw is easily the cheapest pub chain and I think they have plenty of room to raise prices to absorb cost increases. I’m very happy to hold and let inflation do the work for me.

So the money is in the bank, hopefully news comes thick and fast before we reopen.

In the current macro environment, this is a good performance. Yesterday’s drop had me worried but I’m happy to hold.

The sp has rallied hard since news of her departure, we’re not witnessing her as a powerful business woman we’re witnessing what the market thought of her.
