Does anyone know how capital gains works on partial share sales. I’m well up here so sold 20% of my holding. 4ks worth. I have been buying over the last 2 years. In total I’m up quite a bit but each buy is obviously a different amount. As I’ve only sold a portion of my holding how do I calculate what my gain is on these shares?

My point is with the majority of shares are held by the concert party. If they sold £30million to be cancelled they would still be majority shareholders and it would have no effect on our share price because they’re effectively taking 30m out of the company and we’re roughly valued at cash anyway.

Is it possible for the concert party to sell their shares to Caspian? Therefore pocketing cash and having no impact on the free float or the sp?

Mango, then it’s incumbent on Clive to let the market know the strategy. I’m with smarty. The RNS aren’t good enough. Every one leaves us with more questions than answers. The way they have reported 803 simply isn’t good enough. Theres no way to make an informed investment decision without the relevant information. Any competent person would have stated how long it’s been flowing at 500 and what choke they are using, and that is just of the top of my head and I’m not an oil expert. There are many more variables that they know and could have included in the rns.

I have to believe they are intentionally holding the sp down so Kuat can offload a mine at a depressed sp.
