My wife generally does the shopping, however I got lumbered this week, the club card discounts are actually worth having, I am not someone who would normally bother but if I was shopping all the time it’s definitely a big carrot, I think this initiative will drive customer loyalty, and get all regular Tesco shoppers to sign up. I personally would prefer to get a % of the field in return for using the explorer. To want to rent it for that kind of money they must expect/hope for a large find. That will mean they would need the explorer again to do more wells, so a tie up would make sense.

I’m leaning the other way. They don’t want to draw attention to themselves, I think the last rns was about avoiding a spike. I think they will drip news out, maybe not this week but next. I’m hoping A8 increased info and flow rate.

Ben I was thinking the same, slowly upping the flow rate to prevent blockages. Clear ALL the drilling fluid before trying to maximize the flow rates. If we get another rns saying it’s now flowing at higher

The deep flowing isn’t about the 3k barrels a day it’s about the reserves it will book. Casp cracks the deeps and the sky is the limit, it means we are sitting on a huge oil deposit. The shallows get us to double figures the deeps get us to triple, and it not an either or situation, they want the big pay day, I don’t think they expected it to be this hard, but they are pushing on with the deep program so they must be confident.
Unless the revolt kicks off again this is a win/ win just a matter of the extent of the gains.

I emailed Clive yesterday and he was good enough to reply. I asked about some of the obvious missing information , he basically said they would answer those questions when the position was more certain. In the meantime they would work to maximize the potential of the well, so essentially wait to find out like everyone else!

I think they don’t want to call attention to themselves in this climate. I’ve said before they have no need or interest in the current sp, they released the minimum they could to keep the nomad off their case.
I’m expecting the news to keep coming and I can’t see us being down here for long.

Exactly Quay, this rns was more designed not to cause a spike. This is them being told they have to report something, so they report the bear minimum. A deep is flowing, hopefully his means they’ve cracked it.
