Exactly what I've been thinking, normally you'd expect some speculative money heading in but there's very little volume. Maybe AEG are just not on the radar enough. Easy to get a bit insular in your outlook when invested.
Hku - very frustrating that we are at this level, I'm hopeful but not confident the market reaction to the news we're waiting on will be as big as we all hope. GLA
The steady decline in the SP of late has been painful to watch and with AIM you can't help but feel is there something someone knows that you've missed that's dragging the price down. The indications are though that an announcement is now only days away, I respect that due diligence is required but AEG's products have so much benefit on an array on fronts that you can't help but want to shout sign the deal ffs!
Here's to a positive week ahead that is the first of many! GLA
Don't see anyone else 'slagging off the BOD', just investors discussing the company and current events.
Thanks Newfoundlander for your reply, it's always good to get a different point of view and continually assess the risks to ones investment. I'm very positive about AEG's products but getting deals across the finish line is where many AIM companies come unstuck despite the best of intentions and the apparent benefit to all parties involved.
Regards
*see as a solution
Certainly the last RNS could be read as the agreement could be signed off in the next few days, weeks, months or sometime never. Frustrating and the share price drop does not indicate confidence.
As someone with knowledge of the business environment what would you as a solution to getting a positive outcome Newfoundlander?
Once the sp starts moving north the board here will no doubt see an influx, some good, many not so! What started out as a small speculative buy for me has now over time become my 2nd largest investment, the deals beginning to add to the bottom line is what I want to see and it appears we are on the cusp. Thanks to all those who contribute here, makes for much better reading than most of the other share boards!
The whole mysterious theory, was in my opinion to create the impression you were better informed than others in an attempt to avail yourself of influence on the boards. Seen it plenty of times before. As you profess to be an experienced investor I would have thought the 'dreaded trading plan' as you put it would not have been such a surprise and caused such consternation.
At least you admit you're no expert, others who profess to be seasoned investors could do with reading up on risk management when it comes to Aim shares, particularly in the oil & gas exploration sector.
Very well put Ozzie, this had been the plan for a very long time, people seem to have lost sight of that.
Just re read the presentation, this really looks to be a fantastic opportunity, how the market reacts when the FMA and CTL are announced will be interesting. Think I might have add a few more before news arrives.
You can add me to the list of SOU/AEG holders. I'm really hoping JP delivers the much lauded LE this year as I've been invested there for more years than I can care to remember. AEG has so much potential and I'm very optimistic that this could be the best investment I've made. I still haven't made my mind up as to whether to fill up my 18/19 ISA with SOU or AEG, heart says SOU, head says AEG! First world problems.....
Call me a cynic but there's nothing like bringing up the issue of a 'potential fund raise' when people want a lower buy in price.......the interest generated so far and the deals in the pipeline indicate to me that securing any necessary funding on favourable terms is not an issue. Dipped below 4.........well done.... :/
Hopefully we'll resume a steady rise from here up to the next news. AIM stocks normally suffer the 'sell on news' pull back but with a raft of deals in the offing I'm hoping for back to back RNS's to really give a nice boost to the SP before the next consolidation period.
Only recently dipped a toe in here but very much liking the prospects, have to wait until I get home to listen to the interview as the boss is sat next to me today, from the snippets posted it seems all very positive.
