Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I asked if the basin model was affected by the TE-9 result, I assume others sent similar questions as it was answered but not directly to my question, with 1300 participants there's going to be a lot of cross over.
What did you ask Fellrunner?
Seems not enough meat on the bones in the last RNS, more clarity required.
As an aside can anyone tell me what email address they've used to contact the company and obtained a reply? I've used the 'contact us' on the website for a couple of questions but never even had any acknowledgment or sorry we can't comment. Somewhat frustrating.
thanks
Looking forward to the details, as you say years of work has gone into getting the company to this position and everyone involved would like to see the progress reflected in the share price.
The issue of funding is always the mill stone around the neck of small caps and an easy one to bring up. The RNS mentioned it but hopefully it will be addressed in the upcoming PR, until then I expect that drum will get a regular beating. I think that having it as an unknown is another reason that there's been downward pressure on price.
When we decided to drop re entering the old wells and moved to shooting the seismic I thought we would sell at the conclusion of that for somewhere between £3-5 based on a conversation I had with Will Holland and briefly Luca at the gherkin. I was left with the impression re entering a couple could prove up several TCF and add in the seismic and job done. The old wells seem to quietly fade away and a different tack taken. The trading pattern since the high of @£1 and Marco and JP's trading plan are classic examples how to play AIM stocks, get in early, ramp the hell out of it, sell down your holding to give you a risk free ride. Easy to then take the high risk 3 rolls of the dice approach. The writing was on the wall, ironically for me 12-18 months ago, pity I didn't act on it, wouldn't have made being unemployed from Friday easier to stomach.
Here now til the end buckle up folks it's the roller coaster that is AIM, pays your money, takes your chance.
Clearly for whatever reason they just want out, they don't want to be part of the AEG story no matter how much better it looks.
Every announcement from now should underpin the previous and the sp consolidate higher each time. The market ultimately wants to see revenue so might not give full value until then. As long as we're heading north then all good.
Fantastic we've got NFL over the line! RNS does read that further news is imminent as well so let's hope it is the start of the march to 10p and beyond!
Given a lot of the uncertainty is now gone I don't think we'll struggle for finance :)
Onwards and upwards
So what does this say about the basin model? Definitely need some clear no bs information about plan b.
3-5p initially was where I was thinking, frustratingly only back to the level we were recently. What I meant when I said I didn't think we'd see the higher prices previously predicted was that in the present market the 10-12p on news, was I felt doubtful in the short term. Perhaps I'm too much of a miserable bugger but that's what AIM investing does for you over time!
Anyway I do agree and sincerely hope that it is the catalyst for a succession of positive news.
No I'm not mad thanks, just been disappointed by the reaction to long awaited news a few too many times with AIM stocks and keeping my feet on the ground. Is that allowed?
Manics he probably means he's emailed JP 7 times and has had a response to every one of those 7.
That would be very welcome news if it does transpire. Not too sure we'll see the uplift in share price that many have previously muted in the current market but hope to be pleasantly surprised.
Scoop up 3% of the company at these prices and you'd potentially save yourself 10's of millions in any buy out?
Well the price hasn't gone up too much so you can still buy at a decent price ;)
I'm not on twitter and I believe Richard's tweets are only visible to those that are and who follow him. Would appreciate anyone who does posting what was said, just out of interest.
Beat me to it Dracan66!
Not that many posts and not as negative, more a wait and see. Someone did posts a couple of screen shots of two replies from Brian at the last FSC to questions about TE-9.
Brian - ''No data will be available until we have reached TD and logged the well'' and ''Following the petrophysical analyses you will be informed whether we intend to test. It will then be 3-4 weeks before we provide an update on the test results''.
I emailed the company yesterday to confirm how much detail we'd get in the TD RNS, Sarah said she'd speak to the team and get back to me but the RNS landed before she replied.
As others have also posted the company clearly stated that RNS were likely to be far less PI focussed, either people are too stupid to understand that or are ignoring it to push their own agenda. That's what is sad.
Operations were always going to slow down significantly as they approached the first target. 35-45 day drill, not even 35 days in yet. TD could easily not be until 1st Dec and even then there might only be a simple successfully drilled to TD RNS and little other information.
NFL have you voiced any of this to AEG or any of the interested parties? You mention you know many of the gov figures and in the interest of the region surely you'd like to see a successful venture.
35 days from spud is 21/11, I'm not expecting to hear anything prior to that.
