Woodford changed his stance on the stock in August after Capita unveiled its interim results. Just look at the share chart and large amounts of selling first week of August dropping share price from 160p to 125p. Woodford's 'persistent' selling of the shares has weighed on the stock but his selling is as much to do with Woodford having to sell shares due to large outflows from his Equity Income fund which has halved.

We know the reasons for the recent fall but so long as these don't escalate into loss of contracts and Brexit deal is done my opinion is still the drop is overdone.

When someone comments a share is: "Oversold", "Undervalued" or "Manipulated" generally you just have made a bad investment choice and have made a personnal attachment to the share wanting it to go back up to vindicate your decision to purchase more.

That is the investors dream, to know when to buy and sell.

There are a few reasons for the drop, mainly the NHS mistake and Brexit - will there be a deal and will the Conservatives remain in power (Labour want to Nationalise and bring contracts in-house).
IMO this is the floor unless the government colapses - all bets are then off - the drop is overdone with the NHS contract not being terminated.

Wasn't the shorthfall in savings 130 mill so surely the employees have to shoulder some resposibility for management issuing the RNS especially as employees had generous benefits to stop strikes and implement these.
There has to be some collective responsibility as employees rise or fall with the company.

Both companies GKP and GENL valuations virtually the same.
GKP touched 292p just now and yes annoying that GENL have not followed the up trend.
Maybe a big buy later like yesterday.

Yep, could of myself at 590p yesterday but decided to stay with GENL for a bit longer. Risky share but upside potential is greater than PFC.
Still expect PFC to get to 700p later in the year. Hope to flip between the two shares!

I confess.....I have sold my 3,250 shares for the current trading price earlier today.
Going to hope to get back at lower price and make some folding.
Failing that if they rebound will buy back in :o(

The drop of 10 percent has nothing to do with sentiment of PFC but of the wider market.
Short term holders are the ones who panic sell and then get burned when that sentiment turns the other way.

Petrofac is going down with the general market. Long term holders are used to these fluctuations, only wish I'd sold at 660p so I could buy back at these prices!
Just see the positives on PFC and hate to miss a big rise. I'd buy at this price now if I had any cash left!

....and the interim dividend is not far short of 10p either. Not bad 1.4 percent return in six months on current valuation and more if you bought six months ago!
