Typical market, PI early buying, traders sell to drop price, PI panic at drop and sell, share price goes negative, traders pile back in then PI start to buy at higher share price than they sold for. Seen it, done it, wrote a book on it!

Yes, Nordstream coming online but will not be contributing massive amounts of gas according to Gazprom and at the earliest end of this year. Still has to go through safety procedures etcetera.

Gas prices to rise further if the UK experiences a prolonged or particularly cold winter, according to the owner of British Gas. Two major energy suppliers confirmed autumn price hikes for millions of households in line with Ofgem’s price cap increase with more to follow suit.
Tolmount hopefully will be up and running to benefit from any further increases but even at current price will be a great boost to revenue and SP when it does.
Add a reduction in creditor shares and increase in share liquidity…..boom!

Anyway, oil stocks should have a good run now to year end (December) and I still expect to see 600 pence and more sooner rather than later. I predict 420 pence by end of this week for starters.

I think 50 pence will keep TLW in 250 and can move up from there again with a stable OP above 70 dollars. I’m still smiling I got back in under 42 pence and picked up HBR (directors have been buying) at 318 pence.
Disappointing no TLW directors have been buying. Hey ho.

Yup, don’t get caught in trap of buys vs sells to know when to invest or divest. Use data, facts, potential, timing and a bit of luck!

I sold at a shade over 65 pence mainly because I had my phone stolen and just thought “What hell, big profit sell the lot”. Pure luck!
Wanted back in at 42 pence and still can’t believe share price went under 41 pence, so I picked up a miserable 20k of shares. Hedging makes the share price fall OTT IMO.

This pullback in oil and gas prices is exactly the reason companies always hedge regardless of any perceived loss if commodity prices continue to rise.
Profit is more of known factor and prevent catastrophic share falls.
I’m fine with holding long term but will only top up further when market sentiment improves from current expectations.
