A while ago I accidentally sold (at a profit) my entire holding of Tullow to them by them back a couple of days lower at 52p. I then watched them tumbled to 40p and I held until selling at 58p quite recently. Then, I bought back at 53p and sold at 61.25p. I now hold 30,000 at 57p and whilst regret, in the knowledge I should have been more patient for the floor, will now hold until I get a better price which may not be 57p but certainly higher than now.
Moral of this story is, always be patient and be prepared to wait months for a recovery if necessary. So long as you believe the company isn’t about to go down the toilet that is, this is not one of those companies!
