Quarterly from may it says but no ex-divi dates i can see published? Does anyone know them please?

...to hear of a new acquisition fairly soon. Wouldn't like to think the SP just slowly drifts back to pre-results levels before something is said. If 230-235 firms up as a base that's a great place to move from when news of an acquisition (or Brush news) hits. Here for the long term (and bought extra shares for my mothers pension supplement).

Hollyhunter - as a non-chartist I dont understand that but are there some key points you could put down in leymans terms? Preferably before the resident derampers beat you to it? Either way tomorrow will be an interesting day for sure....

I'm in the same boat. Trying to find some safe havens for my SIPP. Was attracted to RDS on the basis of strong dividend performance but the exchange rate means at todays money you're looking at 3.84% (assuming 1.88USD/share p.a) which is nothing to shout about. Article 50 who knows. This is long term play i would think.

I was first in at 161 but decided to switch to something else after doing quite well in a fairly short period of time. 100% know what you mean on the averaging up but I console myself with know it's de-risking by taking margin along the journey. to be fair with an MRO there isnt really much risk but with oilies I'm more happy with averaging up as long as I'm banking along the journey.

I'm in profit again. Should i sell ;) To be honest I think the retrace was only due to the height of the rise yesterday which was pretty monumental for this sort of share. It then cooled and people then look and see value and get in. Suspect it will find its new level now at 240 -250 and then take another step when they start to announce a new acquisition. IMHO anyway

I know what you mean Dodger on the AIM stuff. I'm in SOLO, SDX, RKH amongst others and you need to seriously watch those. The volatility though does present opportunities beyond the actual find of gas/liquids. Big drops are an opportunity to top up and big spikes an opportunity to de-risk and take some profit. Feels a bit like a casino though so you have to be brave as we all know and just roll with the punches. Got caught with CHL the other month though - still feeling the sting from that one!

Only time will tell :) TBH this is a terrible day trading share usually (which is why i dont do it here) so felt duty bound to have a go when the opportunity arose.

Glad to see the dip today. Bought back in twice. Dont think I'll be selling again soon though as the dip was a bit of a gamble. Will sit on these now and wait for news of the next aquisition. Exciting times!

I think you are right Dodger although I suspect if an acquisition isnt announced fairly soon it could lead to a slight cooling of the share value. Todays spike is IMO a combination of the excellent trading result, market sentiment towards the great job the BOD are clearly doing and some hope value of the acquisition. It's the latter bit thats the squidgier bit I am hoping will cool off. I'm going to see what happens over the next few trading days and if the thing stays solid I'll top up on the new price. If it comes back towards me I'll be happier. Either way took some margin today so cant be disappointed in that. Seriously good share this one - although i should be de-ramping shouldnt I? ;)

I'm totally in this space too. I sold some this morning on the spike because the SP felt to rise beyond the update and I expect it to retrace a little. But I 100% want back in so I'm just hoping it comes back towards me a little before doing the usual steady but sure climb.

apart from the slight retrace since this morning of course ;) you're in a cracker of a share here though. These guys know what they are doing and what a great trading update. shame about Brush but they will get there.

I've waited so long to be able to post some positive stuff and the turnaoround in GDP is fantastic. Well worth the perceverence. There were many times when I thought of cutting my losses but I'm glad I didn't. (Finally) in profit now but staying invested because the BOD now have this ship seriously on the right track. Having spiked at nearly 7.5p today you wonder how long (short a time) it could be before 10p is on the cards. Having taken some pain in the past as a LTH I feel I deserve the upside to come.

Nice nudge up today. There's some well deserved positivity around Goldplat now. Looking forward to an assault on the 7p's and the next positive trading statement.
