Crazy stuff. Can't see any reason for the drop. Given the late reported buys I thought we would start with a bit of a bounce.

It was around 16:35 last night in about5 trades from memory. Within seconds of each other about 600K shares bought.

H-J - why have you posted that exactly? Sounds like a somewhat bitter reporter banging on about an unfair property market and taking a small amount of glee that their SP took a hit? Clearly what he is suggesting (it's all priced in anyway and it wasn't that impressive) it's cods wallop. The market expected more than today's results? I very much doubt it. Berkeley is a whole different animal - that's not comparing like with like. I specifically avoided Berkeley with their London focus and higher end schemes aimed at foreign money. You can see how they might be looking a little gloomy looking forward but BDEV is a very different animal. I come back to my first question though - why have you posted that here..?

Hi. 2015, 2016, 2017 and will do again in 2018. I looked at Berkeley but I know how London focussed their business is and how reliant upon SEA market (they were in Hong Kong and Singapore selling kit on all 3 occasions I've been). It's that London focus and volatility that stopped me from taking the plunge.

YES ladhani you would still receive the divi. The ex divi date is October. I'm going to throw another £10,000 at this today given the (ridiculous) drop.

Morning all. What a great set of FY figures and a positive outlook for next year. Theyve built on a strong performance last year with a set of stellar figures for this and intend to reward shareholders appropriately. 34.4p/share - lovely! Should see some strong buying patterns hopefully.

I've so me exactly the same for the same reasons. Only difference here is I bought in yesterday at 540p so more than happy with the rise in less than 24 hours!!! Rarely happens to me that so I'm a happy bunny for once. Great looking share this so a little sad to be out of it so quickly but took a good price this morning. GLA

The spread is now outrageous. Hardly going to tempt anyone to sell and quite offputting to buy....pointless MMS....

I'm in the same boat wideyed. Nothing available on fixed quote so had to put a limit order in but it's still not been filled and I've noticed they've pushed the ASK up in the meanwhile. Doubt it's going to happen today but hey ho...
