Do you think Avacta is vulnerable to a hostile bid, where an offer of sp multiples is aimed at attracting support from PI's, and not as others have stated, from the value of benchmark deals elsewhere in the market?
(A high percentage of Avacta shares are owned by PI's).

We can expect these comments to proliferate in future if further evidence of brilliant trial results emanate from R&D.
One or two big pharma may want to make an early bid, because they know they could be financially outgunned by others, so it's an early bid appealing to PI's or nothing.
The longer BP wait the more certain that efficacy evidence is published, and waiting until further results become available is not a good thing if finances are dictating an early bid strategy.
So for me, a hostile bid could arrive, - only long odds available, - since the prize is an opportunity to grab an ADC beating drug delivery platform.
