CEO "We conduct our phase 1B or expansion cohorts mainly because in salivary gland cancer (a small enough disease setting) and we kind of know from the phase 1 population what we are going to be looking for.

After that phase 2 trial then, though the company would conduct the pivotal or the definitive phase three trial to show that the drug is safe and more effective than standard therapy.

There are expedited programs and those exist with the various health authorities, and they often are seen with rare cancers. It's one of the reasons that we like starting with SGC, rare cancers with a high unmet need.

We are trying to tap into those with the health authorities.

I think that the point I often make is that drug development is a marathon. Just because we say that we see proof of concept in phase 1, that doesn't mean that this is a drug that can be approved."
