Can't say I have tried tally to tally transfer. But I did struggle to withdraw to my bank one time. Kept saying I didn't have enough money in tally when I did. Had to split into two payments to get it.

Though that was a while ago, so likely fixed

Why would they be testing it using manual transfers though?? Surely you would be testing the automation if that's how it's going to be done? Manual should be a last resort in a failure of the automated system??

One potential way of solving this would be to have two wallets in the app (I vaguely recall they were on about this ages ago) one wallet for tally and other jn Sterling.

When transferring money in, it goes instantly into Sterling wallet via faster payments. Then you can transfer, or buy, tally using your Sterling wallet. If this has to be done manually for whatever technical reason, then you can have a contract note for whatever the spot price was at that time and that's what price you pay for it?

Not sure why they couldn't automate the buying/selling of tally though.

Also that two wallet system would allow the buying and selling of the asset much easier than now, where to sell you effectively have to transfer money out which again takes time and isn't instant.

No, I thought the same. When transferring in the cash should be there instantaneous. It's crazy to have to wait in these days of faster payments.

It's done manually I believe currently! I guess it's because all transfers go to that holding account at Barclay's, which they then go through and transfer to your tally account.

It needs to be made slicker imo.

Tally needs great marketing. Marketing that Joe public will get with less talk of reserve banking etc. Make it simple and tell them why they should use it.

They need it IMO. And to stop calling themselves an alternative currency. I think it will have more success as a trading platform for commodities personally. Especially in light of glints success, or lack of.

Tally needs to be more than just gold. It needs to sell itself as an investment tool for lots of commodities to differentiate it I feel.

Even the about page on glints website is almost word for word the same as tally description.

All of my SIPP is in here at an average of 24p so quite dissapointed to be ~30% down give or take a couple % but have faith that it will come good in a few years. It wasn't a short term punt for me due to being SIPP but would have been nice to not be so underwater.

And before anyone says all eggs in basket, I don't. I have more pension pots than this one, though this one was the biggest, now not with the paper loss lol.

I still don't get why they have to stop the relist process, if started at all, to release tally. CP isn't dealing with that personally so he could easily manage the relist side of things.

If every company wanted to make sure product were launched or services finished then there would never be any IPOs! It should be done concurrently with whatever the company is doing as business as usual.

You can just feel more delays coming here. No mentions of summer anymore, just a revised timetable and no fixed dates.
