Nice, I might get some money back because they did that with me. Kept charging me for my sim+phone contract, long after the 24 month contract expired. It should have gone to a sim only rate after the 24 months, but they kept charging the original cost. I only noticed a few months later. I am sure this would have happened to millions of UK customers.

I think we're seeing a dead cat bounce today. I think EU has agreed to negotiations more so it can buy time to put countermeasures package and possibly a myriad of other support in place too, which always takes more time for EU as talks with many member states have to take place. I think late trading tomorrow and early trading Thursday it will begin to turn ugly once again.

The underlying prognosis remains dangerous as Trump, GOP and their MAGA following are devout in their misguided belief that tariffs can bring about an age of prosperity for USA. It's not going to be over quickly, plenty more economic damage will be done and that's why I think vod will indeed head sub 50p.

EU apparently sending final list and the tariff levels to member states later today.

Voting by member states set for 9th April, with final list being adopted on 15th April. Duties on products kick in on that day for first set of measures, then 15th May for all remaining measures.

I can't see how this will help the situation - More and more tariffs, with more and more counter tariffs deployed. Markets are not going to like this. Trade between USA and rest of the world will almost come to a complete halt.

Who gives a toss about financial results if the sp is unaffected.

Over 5 years BT. is up 24%. And VOD is down a whopping 42%.

Great if the results are better, but of little use if the SP is down 66% compared to the other company.

The vod sp has a very poor track record and been falling for a quarter of a century. This will continue.

Quite right. Savage is trying to tell us that EZJ falling is a bad thing for us, but VOD falling is a good thing for him because he is accumulating.

He doesnt seem to think that the same strategy works on both shares.

Only EZJ has one advantage. Its not been declining for the last 20+ years.

LTI, the VOD sp has been declining for 20+years.

Tell me its a well run business.

It may have reduced, its still very very big, and needs strong cash flows to be maintained.

If these cash flows crates due to consumers looking elsewhere for their contracts, or going onto sim only contracts, this could become a big problem. More so if central banks are slow to cut rates.

If you miss your re-entry, you will be stranded on the sidelines as the markets recover. Happened to many after the covid crash.

I suspect the printing presses will be in full swing in the not too distant future. Not a bad thing for LGEN.

With unemployment rising VOD will have a serious problem as people will be switching to cheaper carriers, and keep their old phones for longer. Add to that VOD's massive debt burden does not bode well here at all.
