Sorry Nige, Puerile mode again and spelt correctly this time:-)
Sunsh4t - to say you are a complete waste of space is an insult to any part of that expression that has to be your superior.
Your toxic vibe seems to have tainted Barratt today.
Now FO and play with the fairies.
Nige
Putting the peurile/infantile aside for a moment...................
I have been watching the market moving the share prices around on Barratt, Persimmon and TW. Only invested in Barratt at the moment but I imagine you are more aware of the comparison as probably invested in all three. It seems that the market prefers Persimmon with Barratt in the middle and TW in last place. This is judged by relative movements up and down. What is your opinion?
Sunset you are the equivalent of an anal fistula, that is an unhealthy pain in the arse that will not go away.
The only party you are likely to be invited to is your own and you would be on....
There must be something you can take part in that suits your personalilty - suggestions?
Sunset - clearly you swing both ways which is not a problem provided you swing the right way at the right time. Considering the content of recent posts, there is very little evidence of that but to compensate no evidence of any ill conceived committment either. perhaps homework obligations stops you committing sufficient intelligence to this project and you have run out of pocket money/allowance. That may also account for a limited repertoire and oft repeated crass comments... unless you have been sniffing something?
Are you still short Liam? - BDEV. looking strong at the moment.
'How I amassed my wealth'
How I am ass, is more to the point.
...and I agree, what a complete arse you are sunset!!
sunset aside share price appears to be stabilising/rising now. As a holder very pleased but to be honest surprised. Despite the large FTSE rise expected this to drop nearer to the £6 mark.
'autoprat. See what I just did? Instead of my former post, I was going to post: To know so much about me, you must be living next door to me!'
Nah Sunsh$t, that will be the stranged wife and kids whilst you languish in the garden shed.
sunset - I assume with your level of pseudo self assertion, pseudo intelligence and pseudo self-worth, that the only person you could possibly copulate with is yourself. On that basis I invite you to do just that.
Sunset - your desire to prove yourself as a successful investor, mentor and intellectual is never going to suck seed.
Making so many schoolboy errors of judgement along the way will assist in the layman's/occasional browser of this forum's judgement.
Keeps on trying though - a laugh is worth more to me nowadays than a temporary loss of money.
Hi Nige
It's a great company and I have held shares at one level or another for well over 5 years. I can still remember watching these when they dropped to <80p, hesitating to buy and a short time later they were £3.20.
Enjoyed the recent volatility - a rare chance to crystalize some money whilst still remaining a holder. This is the key to enjoyment of shares as far as I am concerned. Holding some but dealing others as and when. Rightly or quite possibly wrongly BDEV. has proven to be price volatile and my miserable portfolio has almost levelled out because of buying....and sometimes selling but always holding BDEV.
The current skimming of the cream of BDEV. share price is typical across the sector and in my opinion has a little way to go. On that basis selling at current levels to crystalize some of the recent big gains is not a bad idea when we are talking about a base level for long term holders of say £5.70. I believe housebuilders are one of the best sectors to be invested in, so making a few quid here and there with trading is just the icing on the cake.
'So Autobits can buy real cheap and make a fortune to buy chrisie pressies Ho Ho Ho...'
It would appear from very recent posts on this forum that I have made a number of better decisions than you.
At the end of the day sunset(did you see what I did there), you appear to be an arrogant, unpleasant loser?
I was worried when Sunset thought he saw the bottom and started buying back, allegedly - what no position previous??
Reassured by the shorter's post back in scavenging on weakness.
Where is the quality here? This share will drift with Brexit uncertainty, expecially after meteoric rises recently from, and I will remind you £5.70.
Kicking myself for missing a sell opportunity recently but hey ho stick it out. I would have bought back at the wrong time anyway.
My feeling is that this has some way to fall before stabilizing and moving forward with the index.
Sell now if you wish to crystalize some of the recent gains.
The current share price volatility is Brexit driven, mainly positive but some corrective/jittery negative. This is housebuilder sentiment as can bee seen from mirrored charts at Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey. There are other shares similarly affected, some banks for example but housebuilders or more pertinently the value of a house is expected to be strongly correlated to the Brexit final solution, whatever that ends up being. It is possible and indeed expected that house prices could drop 10 -20 percent, worse case scenario...….....or best, whichever way you look at it.
Lots of opportunity to make money trading this share. I would have sold earlier at £6.95+ had I not been driving and away from the computer.
This is a rare shining star in my portfolio offsetting miserable loses from the likes of Royal Mail and Centrica. It is a joy to be in the position of retaining a well in profit holding but trading other shares to take advantage of the share price movements. The rare opportunity to hold and trade a price volatile share that is not underwater has been the answer for me and it took some years to work that out.
Oh dear is the thus far limited use of my intellect and wit outpacing you already sunfish?
Just a bit of banter innit: but seriously and for a bit of fun what price Bdev at close of business. You can't possibly replicate yesterday's gaff.
I see you are an impotent(sic) member of society, hence availability on this forum at te drop of a hat.
It does slightly worry me that you have placed a strong buy at the level I bought at and come out with some uncharacteristically plausible, if not fairly obvious comment. It could be an interesting day whichever way this goes. Looking to sell at £6.95 or buy more at £5.98. Hard to call at the moment but other Brexit sensitive shares a little down. My punt is £6.80 at end of day. What do you reckon sunspot?
Yes, to a certain extent spelling but more often typing without the edit opportunity is a problem:-)
......but we can't all be such high achievers, rubbing everyone else's nose in it can we sunrise - there can apparently only be one, thank goodness!
Anyhoo just bought yesterdays tranche back at £6.57 precisely - feeling smug at the moment as appear to have caught the bottom, something I am not used to sunrise:-)
