Not worried about a figure like that. The housebuilder I hold has gone from 8.5% to 11.2 however.. a bit more worrying.

He already held 6.28 million shares 400k more is rather a small amount don't you think. If I had 6.28 million of these at previous levels I would probably buy another half of my current holding again. ie 3.14 million more at 29p which is what I am waiting for Woodford to do. Will he won't he, has Woodford even got any money left ?

Surely there won't be any offers for Kraken until its signed off and that won't happen until ABs ready to start paying Bumi the full rate.. I'm guessing hes in no hurry to do that. Looks to me like Bumi are shareing some of our risk here.

Your right on first glance ( production up 48.1% ) The market makers marked it up to 43 from a 42.05 close the night before, it also promptly rose to 43.65 before heading down.
However as no mention of Revenue,net debt or FCF the uncertainty factor must have increased.
There could be a negative reason why no numbers were mentioned ( ie they are not good yet )and two possible positive ones ( kraken 20% sale negotiations and Bumi sign off negotiations)

After the update on the 24th May we opened at 43 on the 25th we closed at 33.45
Its all there the drop was because of the RNS.

Oilprice.com has got $79.34 for the Brent high today.
Dollar is down about half a percent so thats giving a tiny bit of help.
I think we will see $85 Brent before too long.
Lots of smallish Autotrades just got this down to 35.00 I wonder if they are doing it to get a large buy through ?

Looks like we might have to wait for Brent to pass $80 again before we get back into the 40s.

Still only just over $1 to go so its not all bad.

Thanks for all your input here, just one question. Why are you spending lots of your time incessantly posting negatively here if your not 100% interested in buying in when the price get to a figure you agree with ?

Thats a mighty fine idea theres just 3 problems with it.
1) Miners are not traders
2) Miners don't have enough Billions to match the leveraged Billions of all the major banks/funds/ traders who act in unison ( they would get just get squashed)
3) Miners are not quite dishonest enough ( ahem )
Don't worry the traders will let POG rise back to $1350 when they have had their fun should touch $1240 then back up again.

I read somewhere ( seekingalpha I think ) a trader saying that Long WTI Short Brent was ' one of those beautiful paired trades which doesn't come up very often'
So I guess when the traders take their profit on the Brent short part the spread should widen again. Possibly $6 to $8 with all that shale and Venezuela outage.
Re Enquest looks like someone left the handbrake firmly on today.. will they take it off tomorrow ?

In the first half of 2018, revenue of $0.9 billion, gross profit of $0.5 billion and to generate $0.3 billion of free cash flow.
On 90,100 bpd production.
Anyone like to extrapolate what Enquests numbers might looks like ?

Its always really hard to tell whats going on with the off book action. I feel the 3 x 500,000 share trades at 16.26 were sells ( coincidentally that would also be half the holding of a PI who posted on here not so long ago )
The 2,500,000 after the bell is much more interesting with that sort of number my money would definitely be on a short closing. As hedgies are usually the first to know whats going on thats good news.

I think its worth noting that in my experience the market doesn't react much on API as its mostly just a guess. So I think the recent POO rise has not factored in a crude draw yet. I'm expecting a draw of around 4+ million on EIA later hopefully a nice gasoline draw too.

I don't know what you mean when I sell my shares I usually like to do it £266 at a time over and over and over and I tend to do it in quick succession. Then I buy them back 600,000 at a time after the bell ! Perfectly normal nothing to see here move along.
