Yes hydraides, We can all see what the shareprice is today, was yesterday, last week, last month but its much more important to know what the shareprice will be tomorrow, next week, next month or next year.

Should be a blue day today ! Premier is up 2% Shell up 0.5 % and UKOG up 63 % if anyone needed any proof of the madness of markets.

chilting, Agreed todays draw for me makes all the difference to the chart direction I think we should be looking at $76 to $78 range now before OPEC. Strange how the SP dropped after that large £1.0638 million buy I was thinking it was a sell but with that draw, the tanker with 500k barrels on its way to be sold and Kraken sign off around the corner who would sell at 31p ?

Together with -6.2m Gasoline, commercial and distilates A 10.3 mill draw !!

bardill, Amazing they were they able to buy that many shares when the total number traded in the last 5 days was only around 40 million. Would the purchase be off book ? Did they already have a position under 3 %

8.56% stock on loan on Euroclear at end of May. Thats a lot of shares to buy back

So is that approx 40 % at just over 62 ( some of that being Kraken production so hedge equivalent to $67 Brent ) Compared to PMO 40 % hedged at just over $59

They are being cautious due to uncertainty ( BUMI sign off, FCF and Net Debt not yet known, They probably aren't tanker watching either so its based on 5000 kbpd less ) Their previous target for PMO was 90 and before that it was 60 so they are liable to raise their 35 target at will. I would bet we will see 35 before PMO sees 185.

Will Neil Woodford double down and buy some more ? Has he got any of anyone else's money left ? Will the shorters now take some profits and close out ? Will the directors dip into their pockets and buy a few ? Will there be an oppourtunistic takeover approach ?

I see Jefferies have a new Premier target as well 185 ! I find it hard to imagine a world with Premier at 185 and Enquest at 35. Looks like our friend Hydrainger has got himself banned. Probably for his PMO post yesterday accusing another poster of taking deliveries up the back passage.. It was funny though.

Sidam, Nothing new in the results, the market these days seems to punish all but the best results so could even end blue. I topped up too couldn't wait, the Mcap of �1.08b is far too low here. Got to be a sitting duck for a takeover. Don't they have �1 billion of land ?

I see star fund manager Neil Woodford is doing well again out performing the market. I have noticed a lot of his other picks which have also suffered do tend to come good after some time Hostelworld springs to mind. In my view Crest is a really good company and I will be buying more when this settles.

epiphany121, Thanks for the link there. I was thinking more along the lines that the western world requires much higher quality Gasoline 95 RON low sulphur where as in other less developed countries they are happy with much lower octane cheaper fuel which isn't going to do a premium motor much good. A bit like the Nikasil engine liner issues which destroyed engines due to high sulphur in supermarket petrol.

Tomcorvid, Just a thought but won't emerging economies like India be buying mostly WTI or lighter and cheaper crudes ?
