North Sea is expensive to operate in. This is why the supermajors are selling out there. If you want to have FOMO for not buying Enquest, I think Premier was the better trade was 65p not long ago so August 18 and hit 120 on 7th Jan ! But Tony D massive short position and RI and placing on the way there.
5% up in one day is pretty good for an £800m mcap company, especially on the day of a big impairment write down. Give it a few more days for 68p Enquest is not FTSE250 so rally is mostly P.I. led
Well if you want to read into the purchase here is my take. The director buys are a response to the Majedie reducing holdings RNS. Its a signal and will be reported as such. How do you know there won't be more director buys ?
They've got to change the narrative now Moody actually has made a share buy. Directors could buy today even if there was a court hearing for OM tomorrow. Premier will not have told Moody when Zama RNS is going to be released and the sale price !

tindrumgambler,
Its called gloating or shadenfreude, as Enquest has performed well recently. However Enquest's Op Ex was over 20 Dollars a barrel to TLWs 9 a barrel. Just sayin.
No S & P Global are not wrong, they provide market analysis. Its just your reading of it thats wrong. Anyway you are boring me and no doubt everyone else on this board. So you're on filter !
Not really got a mate who is a phd petroleum engineer, various conversations I've had. I've provided two sources which state Kraken at 0.5%. As I said sour sounds good for Jethro and Joe then is that why you are here ?
No I don't circa 0.5% is not sour. My sources suggest that under 1% in the industry is not considered sour crude. If it were sour why would there be a premium to Brent ? If it is as you say that Kraken is classed as sour then thats a win for Jethro and Joe !
