A weak pound is very beneficial to SXX therefore if we end up with no deal or a continued protracted brexit then it’s great for SXX... every cloud....

Most will agree this will likely end up a world class project. But, at what cost? The ‘cost’ is (should be) the primary concern for all who are invested.

Fraiser has said that they are ‘well under way’ . Not exactly an SI unit to put your hat on (well under way) but none the less one has to hope these are nailed on.

The biggest lift for the SP, IMO, will be when the company confirm the senior secured bonds. Imagine initial discussions have been had and hopefully, once today is out of the way, it will be admin....they have until Oct to announce but it would be lovely to learn confirmation early. Reckon we’ll be stuck at 15p give or take a few pence until then.

So hard to predict but I don’t think anyone will be surprised if we trade around 15p for a while. Still the bonds to sort so I don’t see any significant rerate until they are confirmed. Would be smashing though if they confirmed earlier than stated! Next few weeks SP action will have no relation to the underlying fundamentals of the project and will have everything to do with how the City maximise their guaranteed short term profits. IMO. But

As we enter what is likely to be a very volatile period for the SXX SP I expect this board to get flooded with new names offering us all sage advice. Remember the filter button and please all, do not give oxygen to those posts which without reason or substance just lazily state derisory low ball SP predications.

Myo, I agree with all that.
Difficult to predict how the placing will work and affect SP in the short term; for me this will have little correlation with how the project is currently developing (and more to do with opaque city machinations), trying to guess the length of time the dust will take to settle (once the city have acquired their profit) again very difficult.

But in the meantime the actual project continues at pace.less than 30 months to first poly all being well.

Ownership of SXX is likely to change (the mix between II and PI) significantly from the 23rd what with dilution, I’d expect lots of news of TR1’s, does anyone know the maximum time allowed to notify the market when thresholds are breached (up and down)?

I presume the 19.7p price is a blend of the OO price of 15p and the previous close price of 21.9p.

Page 59 also important reading.
Expected market cap on 23rd is £1.378M. We will have expected 6.9B ordinary shares.
This gives a price per share of 19.7p ( I think!)
Anyone thoughts on how this will play out?

3pm today is deadline for depositing OO and excess entitlements (but your broker will likely well have their own earlier deadline, HL is midday today)
11am on 20th is deadline for payment in full but again your broker will have an earlier deadline.
Announcement of the results will be 20 May
Shares admitted 8am on 23rd.

General meeting on the 21st.

Trading volumes and volatility seem subdued as folk take stock. I’ve taken up the OO of 14k extra shares plus a request for a further 4K. Locked in now.
