I don't live too far away from JD's estate and he and his wife are joint owners of the Lucky Onion group which owns two hotels with very popular bars and restaurants (Idris Elba is a customer) in Cheltenham, along with three pubs/restaurants in the town and a further two inns in the Cotswolds. They also sell produce and cider from their estate.

His wife also has a thriving fashion business (As worn by Claudia Winkelman in The Traitors).
