I think you may need to re read what I said Mayt as you have misinterpreted. I didn’t say calling someone an idiot is libellous. I merely said that repeating what someone else says is libellous if the original pronouncement was of itself libellous.
Really sorry to see you go Risky. As you say, the product is great and the market huge. Personally I think they are lined up for sales now, but fully respect your decision to sell.
Hope to see you again on this board in future.
That's the problem when you only read the highlights MPO. Later in the same document it says:
"First deployments of the HFC system are expected to take place in the first half of 2022 to customer sites on lease terms. This way, the Company can begin monetising its air cooled "S" Series technology in advance of the anion exchange membrane being available later in 2022."
If you look again you will see that the system was described as "deployable" in early 2022 but only running on pure hydrogen. The HFC can use methanol and this will be the preferred fuel for most and what makes the HFC the HFC. That required a methanol reformer and will be available first half of 2022.
This all underpins AFC philosophy. They are not a fuel cell company, but an OEM providing a flexible fuel power solution. There are three pillars - the fuel cell is just one. Another is the fuel flexibility and this is key to AFC's success as customers have clearly told AFC they want ammonia and methanol, but rarely hydrogen. We can provide that....ammonia in ships is perhaps the best example, and when we do......
So I am afraid MPO that you have deliberately chosen one line from the document that suits your narrative. In doing so you have either failed to comprehend, or choose not to comprehend, what AFC is all about.
Howard White has all the charisma of a rusty nail. He founded AFC but could not make it work - wrong people, wrong product. Adam Bond has transformed it with a product line and underpinning ethos that fits the here and now. AFC is a massively bigger company under Bond (100 vs 10 employees) and there is little or no connection to the company White founded.
I am happy with AFC's current trajectory. I would not touch a company that involves White.
Haggis has many previous incarnations, and in those he has in years gone past suggested imminent SP valuations that were stratospheric. None ever happened. It might therefore be reasonable, as he suggests , to call him a plonker right now.
The in house brokers probably have the best knowledge on which to project sp targets (as AFC will have given them projected financials) and they have gone for just under £2. I am not sure if this is a current DCF valuation or something projected for the next 1-3 years, but it may be the best we have either way.
My targets based on all the info I have (including the accounts) is for £1 this year (presuming sales of Power Tower) and £2 in 2023-24. I have some financial and accounting knowledge, but would caution that I am no pro!
Hitachi ABB energy was part of ABB but was purchased from ABB to become Hitachi ABB. They have now dropped the ABB bit to become simply Hitachi Energy. Dave Sterlace no longer works for ABB or an ABB-associated company
Come on Jimmynan. We know that Haggis is NEVER EVER wrong and knows more than anyone else about AFC and investing.
The reality is that Haggis knows very little about where the company is and is certainly not well informed.
Doc 7
Thank you for the information in your earlier post which actually gave a lot of reassurance. I understand what you say about it being important that PIs are well informed, and the better informed this board is hopefully the more functional it will become. Please ignore the baseless comments of those like jgbb and Garmoan....the board understands the nature of these posters and that they should be marginalised.
So I would ask if you feel able to post a more detailed summary to add to those already posts so that we have the information on which to move the debate on. I was sorry not to be at the AGM..... I had fully intended to be but my lateral flow proved positive on Tuesday....odd as I feel completely 100% normal.
Thank you to you and to those who have already posts AGM details.
