If you would like to ask our webinar guest speakers from WS Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund a question please submit them here.
This is either a massive bargain or something's going on we don't know about.
They went woke and went broke - shifting to full green metals, intl women's day showing how many women directors they have.
Yeah great, but the share price has gone nowhere in 20 years.
Only thing keeping me in (down 40%) is the director buys.
Must be something brewing over at BVXP....

Nothing to do with war, issues are internal.
When will Gedabek get up to capacity, can growth be funded with existing resources or need a raise, what’s happening at Gilar…
Happy cyanide pollution results day to those that celebrate
I’m pretty sure if you’ve held for a while and you’re selling now then you’re doing this investing thing wrong.
You get significant dislocations and illiquidity in microcaps in times of uncertainty. We don’t know the impact but fear kicks in and people want to dump at any price.
Far better to wait for news than let fear take over.
Gedabek is winding down anyway, contribution to 2028 production is negligible.
Strip out cash and inventory and we have a 60m market cap. That could be about 2x 2028 profit
It's also not a great look to put out a 5 year strategy with annual production targets, then 3 months later put out an RNS to say production guidance to be revised.
I tend to agree but then as holders we are clearly biased.
Just have to close our eyes for a few years on this one until the new mines ramp up and we make $30m profit p.a.
So it seems there has been some protesting at a village near Gedabek due to mine pollution which has caused a mine closure. Clearly not good news as most of remaining 2023 revenue coming from Gedabek (Gilar opening at some point this year). Not much news out there, agree need and RNS- if mine reopened over the weekend should see a jump back to 90p otherwise likely more of a drop to come
Current interest rates not that important for new acquisitions as will be reflected in the buy price.
Anything else going on we don’t know about? These 2% drops every day getting tiring.
Just give us the 2024 production target too, it's not that hard.
Also the new mine is "NPV positive" from their previous RNS. Well that's great. So what *is* the NPV? It's not that hard.
This is a very good articulation of the issues with this company.
Yes it looks cheap on a historical earning basis but we literally have no idea if this level is sustainable, are we managing the decline of existing assets with speculative development opportunities, or do we have a solid path to significantly higher production....is it very unclear. At least give us some scenarios with production, capex estimates - it's just a black box at the moment with some acquisition of Canadian rights on the side.
Give us a vision, an aspirational target with a NUMBER - not just "mid-sized copper producer".
Definitely second this, we need some news. They need to up their news game generally.
Scrip div was a bad decision, makes them look weak....'uniterrupted div' at any cost.
Haha gotta love share chat boards
Errrm 56p share price... a little speechless to be quite honest
SSTY down 10% on 1,000 pounds of volume!
I just think SSTY need to get ahead of the curve and show they are taking it very seriously and state that all rooms are disinfected twice a day, put hand sanitizer everywhere, state that all guests must close their bunk curtain thingy, etc, etc
10%+ drop looked severe, thought a mass realization that no one will want to share a room with a bunch of strangers with a virus knocking around or something; but total volume for the day was only something like 37,000 GBP.
Would you stop a Europe backpacking trip this summer due to Covid-19? Maybe, probably not.
Would you stop staying in hostels if you did take the trip? I don't think so, if you're doing touristy things you're going to be around people non stop anyway: sites, restaurants, bars, clubs.
