Castle……….agree, Rishie was right when he said we could not afford any cuts…..shame he never got the PM job. We would all be in a happier place right now.
We were all saying during Covid that the insurance side was propping this up. Now it seems the reverse as the Cruise business does the same. I keep telling myself that there are some tremendous bargains out there but a few weeks later those bargains become cheaper. The big question is when will they be real bargains. I recently thought Easy jet was the bargain of the century as it dipped below £4. A few weeks on it is knocking on the door of £3. Just a question now of sitting tight on my hands till we eventually see a reversal in all of these stocks. I may miss the bottom but hopefully will not lose my shirt.
If you have money to spare you would be better off donating to a charity than throwing your money down the drain here……..this time we will still be waiting and by then the price will be 0.5p Time to move on me thinks. Another few grand down the drain.
Looking like sub 70p coming now. Too many uncertainties here with who is going to pay for what. There will be millions of folk unable to pay for their gas despite using it. Glad I moved the majority of my holdings to BP A few months ago.
Not sure if the 80% increase in price cap will really help CNA. In my view all it will do is reduce the ammount of gas that folk that can afford to pay will actually use as they start to look at ways of saving energy……and for those that cannot afford to pay, well they will still use the gas but CNA will end up paying on their behalf……either that or they cut the customer off and that will not happen. A windfall tax is coming for sure as I see no other way the government can finance the way out of this mess.
Looked a great bargain at mid 130’s first thing. Every chance of a divided being payed next year so hopefully upwards and onwards from here. Both this and PFC are well oversold and well worth stashing away for a year or two.
Coaster…….let us hope so. This will need to multi bag from here though for me to be back in profit. Would be nice at least to see a divided returned to us long suffering holders.
An interesting item on BBC Channel island news last night about how many growers are starting to produce cannabis which is destined for the UK health market. They were saying sales will boom over the next year as it is a huge developing market.
Mansinor……….if you cannot treat your fellow investors with respect when they have differing views from your own you would be best keeping off these forums.
Majorlong……….haha, indeed I was only using reverse logic :-) Anyway, you get my drift, either way I think my Boom header will be the way this goes during the coming months. Great trading update I think.
DR777…….I first bought at 12p and now buying at 6p……If I had bought at 6p and now the price was 12p then would it not have gone up 100%? Therefore surely the same in reverse?
I have been slowly adding here over the past 12 months, I am buying now at 100% less than my original investment but that worries me little. I did the same with TEK and am now over 300% in profit and that is just the start. I have the feeling that within the next year or so this will certainly go boom and become a 20 bagger at least compared to our recent 5p price range.
There are going to be millions of folk unable to pay their bills this coming winter leaving the likes of CNA to take the hit! Anyone that got out in the 90’s has made a good move I feel. The government will definitely step in and hit all energy suppliers with a windfall tax despite what they are presently saying. I expect to see this back into the 60’s once the winter hits hard.
Jeezo Chester……Not looked in here for months but you still ranting about 150 ? Thats 2 years now you have been saying this will be 150 in a couple of months!
I sold out a few weeks ago at 140 making a £15K loss . I walked away with £2k from my £17k investment. A hard decision but in my eyes the writing was on the wall. How many others will keep hanging on in the hope of good news? Cut your losses and run before your investment is worthless.
