Solomon…….a higher dividend yield than the likes of British Airways. As I said previously, if you are hunting big dividend yields then maybe Jet2 is not the share for you.

Solomon…….you seem obsessed with dividend returns! Remember, companies are in business to make a profit for themselves before they think of their shareholders. If you don’t like it why the feck are you here? There are shed loads of companies around that are paying some real juicy dividends. Why don’t you move you money there and leave us in peace with all your negativity 🤔

Solomon…….you ask if I have any investment experience, nit sure what that has to do with my views but yes I do. I have been investing for nearly 30 years now and built up a nice £420k portfolio so doing not too bad. Yes I have made mistakes, selling CNA at 40p making a £179k loss only to see it touch 150p today. As they say some you win and some you lose. As said previously, being ex Jet2 flight deck crew I continue to follow their performance with interest and already hold a sizeable interest which I am certainly happy with. When the market thinks a share has issues then obviously the price will get trashed which often will present a buying opportunity like we now have here.

Lets come back for a chat in 6 months and see who is making some money. 👌

I feel this was oversold on the potential bad news last week. There is every chance that this threat of taxation will not even happen. Another of Donalds threats that will probably not come to anything. Thanks Donald for giving me some shares on the cheap. Happy to sit back and hold now for the true value to be realised.

With a good dividend and lots of potential SP recovery from here I now see this as a pretty safe bet. Topped up another £10k first thing.

Solomon……being ex Jet2 flight deck crew I prefer to look at the positives and listen to feedback back from my ex colleagues….“Group profit before foreign exchange revaluation and taxation for the year ending 31 March 2025 of between £560m and £570m, an 8% to 10% increase on the prior year”

After the poor market reaction last week I have bought back in as feel a bounce will be coming.

In my opinion there was no real bad news in that update…..just J2 showing a little caution which is not a bad thing. 🤞

Only able to buy on negotiated trade at the moment which suggests lots of folk trying to buy in. I have just picked up a few more. I will sit back now and wait for a multibag 🤞

Jeffery…….what a load of tosh you talk. You are so far removed from the business. All travel shares will continue to grow for the foreseeable future. I work in the business so I have a pretty good idea how growth will continue.

Prime…….they are just about to start to fly to Cape Verde. A fabulous place to visit. 30c + and amazing beaches and 5* hotels.

Prime…….. chatting to one of my flight deck friends today and from his perspective things continue yo look very rosy. Good load factors are contributing into the winter and talk of a few new routes to be announced soon.

Prime…….why don’t you buy today and therefore lock in your 12p divi for sure. Yes it will fall by 12p tomorrow but I think it will soon bounce back. That said, I have seen a few shares of late not actually fall on ex dividend day.

Personally I am happy to bank that dividend that is guaranteed and then wait for a recovery too.

Thumper……..Southampton has always been a busy route from Glasgow, even when Flybe operated it. Mainly full of BAE systems, RN personnel and NATS staff.

I sold out a couple of days ago as I wanted to move over to EZJ to pick up their nice divi on the 20th. Looks like I made the right decision. My decision was also based on the poor TUI update last week that really trashed the price there too.

I will give it a week to see how things settle before buying back in. Longer term I see £20 achievable here.

I expect a tick up to ex dividend on the 20th. A nice final dividend of 12.10p is not to be sneezed at. Still looking good for longer term hitting £6+

When we see this RNS later this week I reckon we may see a bounce to 40p. If you are not already in I suggest a few £K may be worth a gamble. Double your money from here on any half decent news.

A pretty good and well worded RNS. Maybe soon the market will start to realise our true potential and the SP will reflect that. 🤞

One wonders what Ian Wood is thinking right now about the amazing company that he started to see this numpty board of directors run it into the ground. A big shame he is no longer involved. I guess if he was we would still be in the £4 range or better.

Lets face it, the oil exploration companies need us. Simple as that. Come back this time next year and this will have multi bagged from todays price.
