As always with CCL any recovery seems to be quick with big moves in a day. I averaged down today and will continue to do so now till the recovery happens. I feel that day is not toooooo far away. 🙏

Stevebt…….cheers, to be fair the house is nicely designed on a very small 30 house estate in a nice Northumberland village. The internal woodwork is very poor, facing and skirtings are poor, open mitres and joins very poor. Doors hung badly with hardware not fitted well. The mortar in the external stone work changes colour half way up the building as they have used a different mix or sand. UPVC windows and doors are very poor quality too. Plumbing is poor, not neat pipework and a drain doesn't drain properly and now smells. Not great for a house costing nearly £500K

I bought at 119p then have bought another 4 tranches as it continued to fall, the last today at 108.5. I now have 54000 shares, more than I really want but with a dividend not too far away I don’t really mind parking it here till we see a nice bounce which I am sure will happen.

My biggest issue is I dumped a lot of Easy jet and Jet 2 to top up here so my loss may increase if they continue to do well.

Stevegt………you dealing with Gentoo? They built my Sons new home and the standard of finish is appalling. They must employ blind chippies and brickies.

I see Jet2 more like Tui than Easy jet. More of a package tour company than an airline.

That said, Tui had a nice 8% rise yesterday after getting a hammering over the past few weeks. Hopefully Jet2 will start playing catch up soon.

A nice 8% rise yesterday with my Tui shares which like Jet2 have taken a bit of a hammering of late. I live in hope that we can start recovering some lost ground here too over the next week or so. 🤞

I topped up with a few more this morning. Hopefully once USA opens we will see a nice bounce. Whatever happens I am in here for the long haul and expect to see £20+ towards the end of the year if not sooner.

Wow……..Glad to see TW. A bit of a safe haven today. The market has been decimated but we are less than 1% down.

I took a £1500 hit this morning dumping IAG and stashed it in here. Looks a good move as IAG now 6% down.

I have been buying now for the past 5 years and I have a considerable holding. My son works in the industry and he gave me an insight into the technology a few years back. Dad, get into this new tech, it will be the way to go in a few years time. I listened and I acted and I still trust in the positive feedback back he gives me today.

We are becoming a market leader and the long boring wait will soon reward us all.

I still feel pretty positive despite all the doom and gloom from some. I have been here for a few years now so little chance of my jacking it in now.

This is still a very quickly developing technology that we seem to have a good foot in the door already.

As they say, patience is a virtue, if it takes another year or so to start seeing some good profit then that’s what it will take.

In the meantime, todays drop gave me a few more shares on the cheap.

Couerdelion……….no insults from me, I am only trying to bring some positivity to a company which I have a great understanding about after being employed by them for a fair chunk of my flying life.

You will see it is dear Solomon that seems to be good at trading the insults.

Good to hear that you made some profit but for me I will continue to hang around for £20 and continue to add on any weakness. Jet2 has been good to me so in return I continue to be good to them. Divideds don’t really interest me as I would rather chase some growth.

Solomon…….I suggest you don’t know what you are talking about when it comes to airline operations.

As I said previously I am ex Jet2 flight deck crew but now flying corporate jets. That said I have a good understanding of how the company operates and still have a good few mates involved with the company.

I posted the other day that I really don’t see any real negatives In the recent update, just a bit of caution from the company about what could lie ahead.

You seemed to disagree saying that the delay in new aircraft arriving will be a big factor and will require aircraft to be leased. That comment alone shows how little you know…..please tell me old bean where they will lease aircraft from and why. Jet2 are phasing out the B737 in favour of the Airbus, it will be a slow process anyway and they will only drop the 737’s as the new aircraft come on line so please tell me why the late arrival of the new aircraft will be a big issue.

Your constant bleating about a low dividend payment is now starting to sound like a cracked gramophone record. Please, we have all heard your concerns so maybe you can now trot on and spread your alarm and despondency elsewhere. ……….enough!
