Aucuba.....just back from my daily afternoon swim and sauna where our group get things sorted. The FTSE was flying when I left but I see only finished up a tad over 2%.
WG. divi coming soon and at this present price equates to about 8%. I was saying to someone today, once all this mess settles down the oil companies are really going to fly. I think I will pounce on BP. when the time looks right. In the meantime we are heading into uncharted territory and no one can really call how it will end up. Enjoy your weekend.

Skier......yes nice push into the 30’s I see today. !!!! Just out of interest do you actually hold any stock at all in any of the shares that you continue to post your drivel about. You have become a well known knob on quite a few forums. I just wondered if you invest your paper round money wisely?

My £250k holding at average £160 not looking too healthy right now.....but hey ho, I am still alive which is more than I can say about my Sister who sadly passed away last week at the age of 68. Sometimes we need to put things into perspective.

Aucuba....just total panic everywhere now so no one can call any share right now.....the only thing fir sure is that it will nit go below 000p I have lost over £300k in the past 2 weeks. The worlds economy will be bust very soon.

Darton.....are you mad? About the only safe investment at the moment. I will hold whilst carnage happens everywhere else....once that has ended maybe then will be the time to sell and pick up barGains elsewhere.

Acuba, I cannot agree, the main reason for the recent fall was the oil price war.....POO will not stay that low for long, once it starts to rise so will WG. As I said the other day anything below 300p I consider to be cheap.....270p a real bargain, will we fall lower ? Hipefully not but who knows in these turbulent times!

They said that about builder Taylor Wimpy in the last crash! It dropped to 4p as everyone was saying they would not survive. Needless to say just prior to this Corona virus it had clawed back to £2.50 . Fortune favours the brave.

Nice finish in the US tonight, up over 5%. Oil up too so hopefully a nice bounce come Wednesday morning that this time will be maintained and not drop back as it did today.

I thought we may see a quick recovery here today like the rest of the oilers. It opened up 10% but then a sharp fall, seemed rude not to take advantage of that fall so topped up at 270p a bit premature though as continued down to 250 before bouncing back. I still see anything below 300p here is a good longer term hold with still good dividends to come. Good luck to all that continue to hold....fortune favours the brave.

Smithy.......no fear, Tui will survive this down turn, believe you me. The dividend maybe suspended but they will survive. Look at BP this morning, down 30% on opening, every share is getting trashed but giving great opportunities to buy in cheap.
Give it 6 months and we will all wonder what the fuss was about.
The world has gone mad and is trying to destroy itself because of a dose of the flu. Hopefully sense will soon prevail.

A quick profit to be had first thing today for those brave enough to buy first thing and then sell. BP opened over 30% down and now making a quick recovery.....licence to print money right now if you have the balls to do it!.

Skier......keep up man, Flybe were going bust long before the Corona virus was even hear of.

Skier1.......no way will this go the same way as TC. The low cost carrie4s will all survive this tremor and be back even stronger once all the hype is over. Look on the bright side, it is going to bring some real bargains just like the financial crash of 2008. Builders Taylor Wimpy fell to 5p then and everyone said they were going tits up. I bought £5K worth...11 years on they had risen to £2.40 per share, a gain of 4800%

Skier.....FUD, I guess you are shorting this? Talk some sense man. This Corona has been hyped as a distraction from other more serious issues going on elsewhere.
EZJ have as much chance of going tits up as you have of having a brain.

Uncle-doug....never took the bait just an observation. As for buying Easy jet I only took a small plunge with cash on the sidelines to take more once the panic is over. I see TUI as a better buy eventually as they have really been trashed.
For safety I continue to buy the supermarkets and utilities, especially MRW and NG. as I see MRW real cheap and should have little effect from brexit and this Corona ****.
As for NG. It just keeps growing.
