How long does it take for 650 MP's to finally realise they have to vote for Mrs May's deal?

Graybird - it would shake things up - send um a message - I'm fed up of hearing arrogant MP's pedalling their individual agenda's, they're civil servants ffs.

Current MP's have failed to deliver democracy - its time for democracy to elect MP's that pledge to do what they are paid to do? time for a general election???

LLOYDS BANKING GROUP PLC - BLOCK LISTING OF SHARES

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 415,000,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in Lloyds Banking Group plc (the "Company"), comprising 400,000,000 shares for the Lloyds Banking Group Deferred Bonus Plan 2008 and 15,000,000 shares for the Lloyds Banking Group Share Incentive Plan (together the "Plans"). These shares will be allotted to trade on the London Stock Exchange and be admitted to the Official List upon allotment pursuant to the Company's obligations under the Plans. Participants in these Plans will become entitled to these shares following the vesting of share awards or the exercise of share options in accordance with the relevant Plan rules. These shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company. Admission of the shares is expected on 11 May 2018.

Stagecoach - if Brexit goes 'No deal' I fear many shares/sectors may suffer - after re-reading the YE results transcript today I have to say I feel safe in Lloy, rising divi well covered, in times of crises people seek safe/high yield stock

Quite correct StrollerB - the largest issue of new shares has been during May - will have to wait see if same happens this year,
Would be good to see an increase in the daily buyback rate - guess they're being cautious pending Brexit

Onlyif - the problem is, there is no appetite in the house for a 'no deal exit', so unless democracy is to be sacrificed Mrs May's deal is the only option, just takes some a little longer to accept that fact.
