This week's observation - Covid Infection rate and hospital cases continue to drop, Schools reopened, with half adult population already jabbed vaccinations moved to groups 5 to 9, PM get his jab, vaccine supply issue may cause delay for those under 50

A very basic comparison that does no include divi yield, IMO those still suggesting Lloy is 'the worst share ever' or a 'dire share' seriously need to examine their concept of investing.

Seany - you talk of the past decade so? - ie banking crash Gov bailout & Ppi, each of those historic items have been dealt with, AHO worked hard to turn Lloy around, relentless on cutting overheads, eager to acquire value adding aspects, Lloy is now an amazing cash cow begging to be milked

Covid will pass, LLoy is strong, the huge sums of money that Lloy has been required to set aside is not lost, it will return as restrictions are lifted

Noooo - Lloy is a cash cow - Just need the PRA restriction to be lifted

IMO - the SP is what it is -
100 @ 42p same as 10 @ 420p -
Despite Covid Lloy remains a cash cow - good money to be earned during recession or slow down - when PRA restrictions are lifted and divi's & buyback restart the SP will rise

DT - I don't see consolidation as useful - did nothing for RBS/NWG -

The answer to Lloy lagging SP is for PRA to take it's knee off of our neck

For sure the market won't allow me to buy at this low price when my divi cash arrives

Congrats and respect to those who have been playing the SP swings - seeing 4x 2p swings during the strong rise over the past month - and today looks like another up day - long may the SP remain firm and gaps get filled - target 69p

Hightrack - Due to current PRA restrictions it's very unlikely we will see a quarterly actually paid out - but we may see surplus profit from the 1st quarter set aside in a 'shareholders pot' - PRA restrictions are due to be reviewed before Q2

Kinda surprised no real pull back after closing the 41.6p gap
Chart showing strong steady rise since Jan low
See no reason why Lloy shouldn't easily take out the 55.2 gap on its way back to its more usual 60p-70p range over the coming months

Some will be disappointed at today's rise - weird eh

Market knows a lot of PI's hold Lloy, PI's who may be needing to cash due to the pandemic, tis a cruel world, for sure it won't be this price when the divi cash starts to flow, roll on May Divi payday :-)

Unallocated 2020 profits = £1bn
