ie the SP was over 77.1p then dropped below 77.1p leaving a 'gap' on the chart
'Gap theory' suggests the SP will re-visit at least 77.1 to 'fill that gap',
When it will be filled is debatable

On 8th Oct 2016 - 1000 quid bought 206 BP. shares & 1905 Lloy shares
Today's value
BP. 206 @ 304 = 626
Lloy 1905 @ 45.6 = 869

In April 2017 Invest4life suggested I add Glencore -
On 22-4-17 - 1000 quid bought 335 Glen shares & 1553 Lloy shares
Today's value
Glen 335 @ 296 = 992

In July 2017 Nucky suggested I add RBS/Natwest -

This week's observation - Banks report good set of Q1 figures as economy re-opens, Covid hospital cases & deaths holding steady, over 40's called for jab, Experiments with mass gatherings, Media preoccupied with desperate political mud slinging

A very basic comparison that does not include divi yield, IMO those still suggesting Lloy is 'the worst share ever' or a 'dire share' seriously need to examine their concept of investing.

Hi Wuds, similar situation, retired early and was living a good lifestyle from divi income pre covid, determined not to sell any of my holding I managed to skimp by since covid selling un-required family silver and a little Ebay/FB wheeler dealing (old habits), have 18months till state pension, pressure off now divi's have resumed, I take the view my deferred divi's have been used to save the economy/country, as we emerge from the crisis I expect it to be returned.

Taking the PRA's word that Divi's are just delayed and,
Using 2019 declared final and 2020's projected divi's as benchmarks,
I'm keeping a running balance on my 'Covid Impact Divi Deficit' (CIDD)
