Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Sorry everyone as I know this is not the right forum - BigBench has the Lion forum closed now?
750,000 shares - that's a lot more than my punt!
Is that a buy or sell I wonder?
Yes very quiet on here but hopefully there will be some news to discuss soon.
Well firstly thank you so much for going to the trouble of providing this very clear summary – that was very kind of you.
I had slightly lost the will to live with FRR and so stopped coming on here for my mental well-being so I have to say I am surprised as to how this is a lot - lot - more positive than I was expecting to see.
I still have shares showing on my account so assume they could be reactivated sometime in the future then.
Gosh I am pleasantly surprised by all this I have to say and thank you again so much for responding I really appreciate it.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Firstly thanks to you all for keeping the forum for FRR going and for all the research.
I confess I have not looked in here for a very long time but wondered is there any hope we could see anything back from our investment?
Thanks in advance for any comments
Thanks both for your answers very much apprciated.
I was interested to see what people thought about two basic questions I have please:
1) What are the chances in percentage terms of West Newton making some kind of significant contribution to the share price in the next 2 years? For example is it in your opinion 10% or 60% etc. I would be very interested in the company’s thoughts on this question too – are they optimistic (more than 50%) that WN still can play a very impactful role on the share price or not really now?
2) Just in general what is the percentage chance that the share price will be double where it is today in the next 12 months?
Same here all have been removed from my AJ Bell account.
Thanks everyone for your responses!
Thanks for that Heid - very encouraging indeed I agree!
Do you know the answers to my questions please as it did not really cover that?
thanks again asipptoomany
Happy New Year everyone!
I have seen a few comments about Biscathorpe possibly being game changing for the company - I confess to have lost track of all the moving parts with UJO - would someone be kind enough please to tell me what is the time scale for finding out if that is the case or not and what sort of COS there is? thanks in advance.

@mixter: many thanks indeed for the detailed reply below - the additional context provided is very helpful.
I will certainly be a shareholder in this company to hopefully benefit from the outcome in the coming months - if it gets next year to the 0.66pps outlined in the Shard Capital document I would be extremely happy with that as you can imagine.
Thanks again for being so generous in sharing your thoughts from what must have been a lot of hard work researching this business - good luck to us all!
Thanks again gkb47 and have found the NPV per asset and that is very helpful.
Thanks gkb47 and I will do that and yes of course you are right there has to be some risk I totally agree.
I guess I am trying to understand (per Mixster's earlier comment about a negative outcome for B1 potentially moving the share price back ( I assume from a future level and not where it is now but am not sure) as to how much of the success of UJO in the next 12 months will be based on the outcome of WN B1.
For example is it the case that success with B1 would be if you like a "Brucie Bonus" and that the share value is in good shape regardless of that - or is the outcome of B1 more pivotal than that. Hence asking about the likely chance of B1 succeeding. Thanks again for your reply.
@ bucephalus1: thanks for sharing that.
Many thanks indeed Mixter for sharing all of your insights it is very much appreciated not just by myself but I am sure by many who read this board but do not actively participate.
I just wondered if you had any further comments/insights regarding this please:
"We hit good here, then we are seriously at the races.. hit a duster, we will drop back even with Wressle coming on board": is it completely unknown if B1 could be a duster or not or is there some idea that is accepted by the industry as to the chances of it being a duster? Like say for example a 20% chance?
I wondered also regarding Biscathorpe if there is a sense as to how likely the planned exploration will find something significant?
Thanks again in advance for your thoughts.
just added £20 - sincere thanks to all who arranged this.
I have a reasonable chunk of shares here but don’t post as don’t feel I can contribute anything worthwhile by comparison with others.
I just wanted to thank everyone on this board for the research and analysis provided so generously by so many throughout the year - it is truly amazing what you find out and even more so how to interpret it.
Here’s hoping for a happy outcome for us all very soon.
cheers
