If you look back to 2022/2023, they made massive losses, followed by significant gains in 2023/2024, only to face heavy losses again from 2024 to 2026. This suggests that gains in this sector are highly cyclical and heavily dependent on supply constraints, access to personnel, and, most importantly, interest rates.

Persimmon was the hardest hit in the sector during the initial downturn. Historically, it maintained very high margins that the market eventually realised were unsustainable as build costs rose and house prices cooled. In early 2023, the company also slashed its dividend by 75%, which caused the share price to halve from its 2022 levels. @Asperger1 If you are interested in investing in building companies, why not take a look at those that hold significant government contracts? The majority of those have performed much better than the ones you quoted.

The FCA is generally wise to "box-ticking." They require evidence of a sustainable business model. Acquiring minor assets without a clear path to revenue often fails to satisfy the requirement for a suspension to be lifted. Other than that, I would generally agree with the rest of your post.

Bo has officially confirmed that its Rudyard processing plant is configured to achieve 5-nines purity, representing a helium concentration of 99.999%. Have been following the price of oil bouncing around but the price of diesel at our local garage has stayed at 169.9p per litre for the last fortnight.

I'd just be happy for the share to be relisted, the price I don't mind. Just the chance to sell and recoup some losses will make me happy. Any shortfall can be recouped through tax credits.

Can you support those claims with facts? As for how many shares have been flipped, we can estimate based on the low trading volumes compared to the total shares in issue and how many shares were placed and the number is small. AIM is definitely sentiment-driven, but everyone, including the herd, knows that the more shares a company has, the more capital it takes to move the share price. The herd wants to see more than a 10% gain on major news, yet it took over a billion and a half shares traded just to move the price by negative 3% on Friday.

That’s his job, especially when the groundwork has already been laid. It’s not really a matter of just a couple of months, is it? He said himself that he’d be hitting the ground running, but it seems he’s running in the opposite direction from where he needs to go.

@V111JAS Use AdblockPlus and all those adverts disappear. Even if you agree with their cookie policy the adverts still disappear leaving just empty boxes where they would be. The page loads faster and ad free so at least that is one less issue to contend with.

@Saloon65 That’s the problem, isn’t it? A 175 million sell doesn’t move the needle, and equally, neither would a 175 million buy it would be absorbed without any real upturn. It’s going to take a lot of high-value trades to see a meaningful rise.
