Nothing new can be disclosed at an AGM that hasn't already been disclosed by RNS to the market beforehand so if you're suggesting something was shared that wasn't already known then I'm afraid you're lying, as that would be in breach of Article 17 of UK MAR.

An FCA investigation won't stop this from relisting and is a completely separate issue. What stops this from having the suspension lifted is the company formally applying to the FCA and the London Stock Exchange for the restoration of the listing under UKLR 21.4.4. Anybody that says otherwise are telling porkies.

Haven’t looked and don’t have much interest. Any value in the diamonds now won’t benefit shareholders in any way, shape, or form. It will be used to partially pay creditors, and whatever’s left will be absorbed once this moves into RTO territory.

I like to keep the local economy going apart from the fact that during snow we can find out if the roads are clear enough to travel based on if he delivers or not. The estate has beef cows but not dairy. We like Jersey milk and the milk is marginally cheaper from the milkman than it is getting it from the supermarket, and we get the bonus of fresh milk on the doorstep of a morning.

@stp the lion share of my stocks are in the energy sector, with many focused on renewables like solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, hydrogen, and essential minerals such as helium, lithium and rare earths. nearly all have been rising over the past few months with a few making gains over 1000% such as bab**** & wilcox (bw) which increased over 3000% over the last 12 months. financials are taking a bit of a hit right now, which is expected in such a turbulent period, but sectors are cyclical, some fall out of favour while others rise, and eventually the trend reverses. it’s a big world, and there will always be winners and losers; it’s rare for them all to be down at the same time and when they are they rebound quite quickly even when economies are still struggling.

@Cardinal3 The only time I use cash is to pay the milkman or buy things at a car boot sale. Everything else, including the barber, we pay for with a debit card, unless it’s over £100 when we will use a credit card for the extra insurance, and I pay it off immediately online. Last year, I spent £400 at car boot sales and £600 with the milkman. I usually pay the milkman every three months, as I can’t be bothered driving 11 miles to the nearest cashpoint. Instead, I grab £250 while I’m out and about four times a year, and if we run out of cash, we just do without, since neither of us likes carrying it. We used to buy our eggs from the egg farm using cash but they prefer bank transfer now so as we go through two trays a month we transfer £8 a month by standing order. The egg farm is about a half hours drive from our house over the border into Wales so pop into Presteigne afterwards for a custard slice which we pay for by card. Not many businesses like cash anymore as its hard to bank, especially in the sticks.

@Birdsong you paint a great picture of young people choosing not to go on wild drinking sprees, except they're still having fun without alcohol. Interestingly, in rural areas where you believe it wouldn’t make a difference, many big parties happen like the 2,000+ strong weekend event just a couple of miles from our house over the Bank Holiday weekend. The police showed up, found no alcohol or trouble, received no complaints, and let everyone carry on. There’s no public transport here at any time, day or night.

So yes, it’s about young people not wanting to drink, preferring to stay fit and healthy rather than spending weekends getting drunk, ending up in fights, visiting A&E, and nursing the usual Sunday hangover. On a plus note Leisure centres and gyms are doing a roaring trade from the young who like to keep fit instead of drunk.

Hospitality has been on a downward trend for decades, but it's accelerating due to a massive demographic shift that no government policy can easily fix. The industry relies on the young to survive, yet that same demographic is turning away from it in two ways. Over 25% of young people are now teetotal, and many more are moderating. The 'pub lifestyle' simply doesn't hold the same cultural weight it once did. Young people are increasingly rejecting what they see as a dead-end sector. With low wages and limited progression, they aren't interested in making the industry 'pay' through their labour anymore.

That said, Lloyds is facing serious heat from NatWest, which currently serves about one in five UK small businesses, and digital challengers like Starling and Revolut, which are now the top-rated choices for SMEs in 2026 due to better app integration. Making it harder for businesses to bank is the problem Lloyds has and has forced many pubs to turn away cash as a payment method which reduces footfall further or turn to a different bank that makes it easy to pay in large volumes of cash.

True, but with the storage vessels the company is using, you’re looking at storage lasting years before any significant loss is noticed. During the time the storage remains on site, nothing escapes except for maybe a couple of molecules.
