@Paddy
Think we’ve all made those errors… my worst was with BAE at 270, selling at 450 and Shell… bought at 980 and sold at 1500. Lose all common sense. If you don’t make mistakes then you never learn… sticking to x% profit taking is working better for me.
Some common sense is required on these boards..
Nobody cares what is written in the Mail - or any other newspaper. Never mind using that info as a reason to sell a stock!! There is a small number of issues against over 4m more happy passengers per month. You can find articles about unhappy passengers on any other airline… I’ve flown Wizzair nearly every month on business - having a choice of airlines….. do I travel with BA? Ryanair? Nope!
If I write an article about when Wizzair gave me a free flight when the person next to me was sick, will the newspapers listen?? NOPE - it will be ignored in favour of something more negative.
I don’t work for Wizzair, I just don’t base companies on a small minority.
We may be approaching a recession but many visitors to the UK aren’t. They’ve already saved their hard earned cash for holidays and meals out. I was in London last week and the wag at Covent Garden was packed so went elsewhere… the next day we called in around 3 at the one in Soho… was about 80%. Used our vouchers there. Some may disagree, but I though the budget was better than I thought. Hopefully the recession will people over to my bus company lol
It hasn’t risen too quickly….. it’s a nice steady trot back up to where it should be. Its still nowhere near and directors have great faith in its business model. Too many people are seeing a little rise from the lowest point it’s been at for many years, panicking and unnecessarily selling….. I paid a lot more during covid before selling at 40. Have faith and make yourself some tea!!
Agree. Don’t see why relatively small losses and lower margins are of much concern during turbulent times and attracting new customers (which seems to have worked). Wizz is one of the healthiest airlines. Far better than BA / IAG in my opinion
… and one of the few European countries that are staying fairly neutral with Russia….. keeping their foot in the door surely helps potential investors, in addition to gas and oil! This is one of the few airlines that have my 100% backing.
The whole market is belly up… General share SP drop when they announce tax cuts, shares drop when they cancel tax cuts, I put a few more in at 90p but will leave it at that for now…. All my travel stocks are down… but can’t see it lasting forever or all the ships, busses and planes going under…. Be patient
I locked my undervalued stock away in the bottom draw in 2020, had a peek 2021, then another peek in 2022…. I think I need to change my annual peeking to once a decade. It’ll all turn out good… hopefully before I retire ??
