We're almost at the end of 2020 and the top indicies are no where near recovered. Most stocks have been hammered. I think predictions are pointless at this point. I can't see 2021 being any better. It's a great opportunity no matter what your strategy is.

Just for those who believe there will be a cine big bounce, may need to be realistic. This is a tough tough period. Coming through this will be a huge step, but I feel we are looking at a minimum of two years before stability is achieved. At that point, the SP could be anything. It's hard to say what it will be.

It's quite ridiculous to have derampers vs rampers on here, but that's all I'm seeing. Not everyone is one or the other, which I have been accused of. I can clearly see when the SP is going to struggle or when we can expect rises. Not saying it as fact, but there's enough evidence to judge with a fair degree of accuracy

Deramper in disguise? Haha you guys are an absolute joke. I'm a realistic long term holder. I don't have time to short, let alone know how to do it well. My posts are based on opinion and what is happening and how I feel. If you read my posts, you'll also notice where I've said not to listen to derampers or rampers. You'll also notice where I've said I'm a holder. Do you really think I have time to be playing on a team of people posting negativity for no reason? You do realise that you have no clue who I am? The company will have to permanently close cinemas and if movies are further delayed, revenues will be low. If it survives, the SP won't get back to pre covid levels for a minimum of 3 years.

Today's rise is nothing new. If it cannot be sustained it's pretty useless. Only good news if you're trading i think

Sorry pal. It's just my opinion, don't take my absolute word of course. It may well hit £1 but will it be sustained? I'm really unsure. I've been invested for nearly 6 months, so know how quickly this can swing. IMO, whilst the wider economy is in a state and of course with cinemas closed in both UK and US, I think trading levels won't be as strong. Good news and speculation may change this, but for deeper investors will look into the numbers and be a bit unsure. I'm totally committed, but just putting a realistic (maybe worst case scenario) hat on.

If you're long then who cares? Won't move significantly in either direction. 2-3 years before 3 figures are hit

I think it's going to be a tough week. Will bounce lower I feel today. By the end of the week, I can't see it going anywhere near 30s. Tough times for long term investors

Looks like it's coming back to a certain extent. I'm sure this will set back the SP once again. Now it's approaching London, this will do more economic damage

Mark, you sound like you want to listen to other opinions. No one knows where it will go, or at least without guessing. There are no facts to prove it going to that price, so come on just dyor and see where it goes

There were certain people on here ramping the price up, but since the big drop, they've gone relatively silent. I say all of this to just advise people to be careful about the information you receive. Some of these guys only wanted to see a price rise because they were trading. The reality is that most didn't think of truly holding long term.

These prices will remain for another 2 years I think. Anywhere near £1 in less than 2 years will be a miracle

If you lost £10k I'd stop here. If you can leave this £1000 for perhaps a few years, (providing cineworld survive) then hold on. But really it's as simple as this, if you will require the cash at some point in the near future, don't invest

Happy to hold for 2-3 years. Crazy I know, but luckily I can keep topping up if need be.

I very much doubt cine will disappear. Just like most listed companies, the only way is up from here.

I fully expect it will be a minimum of 3 years before prices are close to pre covid.
