This is where this BB gets ridiculous. You think that if a holder of shares like myself, says anything negative or says that the SP may fall, that they are scaremongering. I don't care what people do with their shares.

Everyone can commentate on their views of which way the SP might go. But as I've also stated in most of my posts, is that I'm a long term holder and currently battling back from losses, so why on earth will I scare people to sell, when I'm not doing so myself.

There's some real normal investors with no agenda on here and I'm one of them. Don't come out and start referencing being negative or scaremongering, like you've done with others. Not my style pal. Don't put people in categories that you don't actually know.

@zstarz says the person that predicted/stated that the SP will retrace after the large fall on 5th Dec. Isn't that a prediction? Or am I not understanding of what the word means. Whether you give numbers or percentages, I'd say that saying which direction the SP will move is a prediction, whether short or long term.

@Zstarz it's just a prediction mate. As I've said, I've seen it before which could happen. Yes, Monday could be a huge sell off. Unnecessarily probably. If not then great. If it does happen then I'm buying more.

As for not being your financial adviser...well I am not exactly telling anyone what shares to buy or what to do am I. That's a very different sport. Do you even know what a financial adviser does?

@Zstarz you never know. The markets react in ridiculous ways and I also never said that's what it will be on Monday. I said across the week. So before you try and give advice, maybe read my post and understand it better

Since you are young (I'm assuming) and depending on your level of capital and risk appetite, you can look into indirect investments (funds, crowdfunding, p2p). The issue with everything is that it's difficult to guarantee another source without planning for both the upsides and downsides.

I know some people that are looking into copyright investments, but I don't know a great deal about it and think the entry is quite high. I'd definitely diversify in property if you have the means to. But even property is becoming tricky. Happy to chat through more if you want. My day job is actually a financial adviser haha

Not everyone can just have the opportunity to become wealthy via investing. We are in a privileged position to do so. Whereas the majority of the UK does not have that privilege. Capitalism has divided and conquered and it's only benefited those with a head start.

I agree. But why are people saying it could rise? There's clearly people trying to convince themselves and others. It just doesn't make any sense. Clearly ramping on uneducated investors.

After some of the stuff I have read, I wouldn't expect such a large drop, but 25%+ isn't beyond cine. More importantly is the actual outlook. It's just annoying that traders will sell off
