Really hope so. It's clearly a positive signal of support from major shareholders. Hopefully markets take notice and hopefully, generally mood dampening news is limited. Would be nice

From the news article 'tapping up shareholders for cash' to me this just goes to show that the SP is artificial and the true value isn't being reflected just yet. Probably forcing drops here there and everywhere haha. Good stuff

Sometimes these companies need to be held accountable for not treating their staff well, whilst being heavily remunerated. It's just a shame that this sort of thing makes the news. I think cineworld have a poor media team and can't keep things in house.

It's clearly a setback, but shouldn't be too damaging in the grand scheme of things.

On a side note, clearly some people are trading this share and are happy there's negativity. No one can stop that. Seems like some of you are getting emotional.

Seems to be a struggle to break out, but would be nice to stay well away from 65-67 levels, especially given some of the ramblings re films and mooky etc. Personally I don't think these stories should factor in, but it's cine so you never know how the bounce is going to go.

I think that some people should realise that there are investors that aren't not experienced, as she said. There's far less shorters/derampers on here. To be honest, most of us have got in wrong, and genuinely worried if things aren't looking so good.

So no need to insult people for having worries or buying at a high price.

For sure. There's been numerous shares that have risen, despite poor results. It's all down to interpretation. The financial results definitely will not come as a surprise, so I'd be surprised if there's a huge sell off. And also, with the future looking relatively positive and plans being put in place to open, it could have a positive effect.

Agree. Need a buffer away from the mid 60s for a few weeks or so, and if it climbs, then great. The good thing is that a fall of 1-5% won't seem significant anymore in the grand scheme of things
