Why do people think all news means the sp must move either up or down. Seriously, it takes more than just a piece of news to swing the sp. No one knows why the sp is falling, but one thing I do know is not to expect rises just because other people think it should rise

Lol VCB2, why not just be patient? Can't just expect large gains out of no where. We are a ftse250 stock with major shareholders. Things have to make sense and we're still in an uncertain stage imo

I know that he can't manipulate the price. I also know that it's a positive post - therefore I understand it. However, I just don't think we will be testing 120p this week.

What's that going to do for anyone though? People will read the posts they see. Ramp posts based on fact? Which facts? Facts don't necessarily do anything for the sp

He's obviously painting worst case scenario. I think a sensible head would factor that possibly. I, for one am not fully convinced we won't go back into some form of a lockdown at some point. That's just my opinion. I don't have full backing of the government to get things right or the public to follow. I just wish they'd just let us get on with things and not have lockdowns etc and put the scaremongering to bed

FI, it's just ifs and maybes with them. I'm happy if in the near term the sp rises. It's such an opinion piece, literally any of us could write it. The only thing they always keep clinging onto is our debt. That can be addressed

I was going to say. Fool haven't said to buy cine ever since I've been invested. Some of their points are valid and I am hoping that we have a successful opening. I think most shareholders know that opening is a key litmus test for our immediate future. However, so not acknowledge where we were to where we are now is ridiculous. Fool haven't realised that huge gains have been made. If shareholders were so concerned about other recovery stocks, we would be well into the low numbers by now. There's clearly another motive with them. Cineworld isn't the only share they do that to.

A full week of poor predictions from holders and the trolls. Just goes to show that no one really knows and for the most part we're just guessing based on what we think can/should affect the sp. Reality is we just do not know.

I continue. But, only the big investors/investment houses and major shareholders like mooky understand having targets etc. FYI the FTSE is up to all time pandemic highs despite the blood clot situation, so just goes to show. We don't really know. Could all turn on its head

Honestly though. There's more than news articles, opinion pieces, even market commentary. A lot of the time it doesn't carry weight on a day to day. Maybe over a longer time frame, but

To be honest, I think some of the news etc isn't directly linked to certain movements in the current sp. If this were to have an impact long term, there will probably be a sell off. I just think our sp has no steam and the sp is bound to bounce between 90s-100s for the time being.

I think some people on this bb read articles of good news and expect a share frenzy for nothing. The amount of people predicting 110+ by end of Friday etc, has shown the real lack of understanding of sp movements and reasons behind those movements.

There's no reason for a higher sp. Just because it's lagging behind today, doesn't mean it's going to do the same the next. We're so heavily traded, it's unreal, so all the tricks in the book are used on us constantly. We're still in that turbulent phase before opening

That's a big ask I think. As much as we're likely to profit, there's caveats that can so easily prevent that. It's literally one step at a time with this. £1 is still the underlying support, which isn't high enough
