GVC should be poised for entry at next review on 2nd March, and effective from 21st March. If there is no big change in sp before that date it should rank around 100 in the ftse250 and hopefully benefit from some ii tracker purchases.

Now back to 17% below it's recent all time high. Now at a level it reached in Nov and stayed at for a few weeks. I was surprised when it moved quickly higher during the general decline early this year and thought perhaps someone had the chequebook prepared. Nice to see an uptick generally today in the markets anyway

Nice work. It almost seems as though you have been working on the final accounts! Nice uptick today. But SP could certainly do with a lift as they have been much worse than the rest of the sector over the past 6 months by my reckoning. Unless something improves soon I would have thought Ritchie could be under some pressure.

Telegraph yesterday was saying that Morrisons have 'democratized' oysters. 25p for Pacific oysters against Tesco 50p and £1.50 for Native oysters. They are fantastic in my favourite seafood pie, tried them raw and would be fine if you were having a buffet and the likes of opium were coming round.

Perhaps in part due to the COO leaving after only arriving from Barclays in June for personal reasons. Also a new cfo has just started. Having lost one not long ago who had not been long in the job. Markets not liking uncertainty and all that.

garyn My misunderstanding. Also sure there is a lot of takeover spec in the price,(p/e about 123.7) but even with that I feel they have got an excellent business model, with low costs, high margins, great profile, & massive growth at the right time. atb

I haven't had a previous ID, and was only making a remark regarding another comment from someone else. If it ends up right here I will not be disappointed as I took my initial investment out at 480p and have run the rest. Fairly well documented on this bb as thankfully it is low-key, not being a penny oiler. I also pointed out that it is a bit much that it should have a bigger m/cap than either Fullers or Youngs who have both been very successful and have been around for over 150 years in the same sector. Certainly my best performer last year all the same

Oy bongo5! Steady on there, nobody is meant to spell 'quiet' like that. The preferred spelling usually on these boards is 'quite'. ie 'it's quite today' Expect a massive drop in sp tomorrow if things run true to form imo.

Let's hope this is a catalyst for future rerating of the sp.

I notice mrw closed today over 8p higher than tsco. Just 6 months ago tsco sp was 32p more than mrw. Have the shorters perhaps got it wrong? Who cares as long as opium is happy? Certainly not mrw shareholders!

correction GS forecast 790p early September

GS were forecasting 790p for Crest in early Nov. and of course it recently hit 500p. I'm not sure why any of them bother when they are so consistently wrong. CM I agree with you that that there is no problem in buying into a sustained rise in sp if you are already in at a good price. I have and still do this with NG and in the past year or two various other builders. Beats trying to catch the falling knife and the risky 'Averaging down' imo By far the best builder performance in the last few months

What about the share price opium? Surely that's the price that matters most to those on these boards. I think you would be better on a shopping forum discussing the price of beans etc.than on a share bb
