Companies undergoing a rapid expansion plan in order to provide proof of concept to would-be purchasers of its product / technology are doing rather well to be anywhere near break-even imo. Why not ask your questions of the company rather than of people who aren't concerned with your own pedantic queries? Multiple income streams present no problem to this observer.

that last post of mine is taking the wage up to the incoming living wage at £7.20 per hour in April from around £6.70 now.

MA said late last year they had 15000 shop floor staff. Take an average of 20hrs per week each and an increase on what they are getting of around 50p per hour, that would cost around £8 million pa plus a bit extra for employers N.I. Not a massive hit out of a last year profit of £295 million to give a bit of good publicity for a change imo.

Has now been suspended for longer than it was actually trading. A rum old bunch imo, but too much information is something the bod can never be accused of.

I'm no admirer of MA, but even less keen on the Parliamentary committees who call people in and then gang up to give them a public humiliation with well prepared lawyerly questions, of the 'have you stopped beating your wife?' type. Many of the MP's would never have the energy, skills or know-how to create or run any business, let alone a multi- billion turnover company. Mainly a bunch of second-rate, nest-feathering, time-servers who have won the dodgy barstewards job jackpot imo. I do hope MA sticks it out and refuses to go and play their games. At least he is one person who could call their bluff and pay the fine, and probably knock hell out of any 3 of them.
