last 12 months mrw up 4.3%, tsco down 21.7%. Dave Lewis at tesco now for nearly 2 years and sp down 42% in that time. The clock must be ticking for him.

I think they should be encouraged to leave at the earliest opportunity.

If Microsoft can pay £18 billion for Linkedin, for Amazon to pay around £3.5 billion for Ocado values it at £6 per share, and they'd surely get it for less than that. Probably just doing a bit of hands-on proof of concept in the UK at the moment to see if it all is likely to be worth it in the longer term

Thanks for the link I think that once the acquisition spree slows down a bit this could be a real one. Could be taken out or as now a dividend of over 5% with all the action going on in the background the sp could take off. Seems to have recovered from the early year slump

Some newspapers make a big deal out of this with selective reporting, because that is what some papers do. Should the man have asked permission of shareholders to go out with the new woman? Yet another acquisition! BLV itself must surely be a t/o target in the next few years. Hope the excellent dividend holds.

Now up over 25% in last 3 months, integration must be going well, perhaps dividend won't be suspended for too long.
