I think Sir Stuart has got his eye on a peerage when he quits m&s next year. Lets hope from a shareholders point of view that Marc Boland plans to make m&s the worlds most profitable retailer instead. Some of these guys in their wind down to retirement seem to forget why they were put there in the first place. A lower profile top man rather than a photo opportunist would make a good change

if it hits close to the pound mark I will be out, I really don't see why it should make much headway in the present climate. It is not a bad one for the frequent traders though with 10% to be had fairly regularly. I console myself with the thought it is not a punch or entins and the divi is ok.

It's a much better run ship than some of the others in the sectorand it does also brew some very good ale which is also not too common in the pub sector
