I am not invested here but I was a customer up until October 2019 when I received an email that read
“Sorry, we can’t renew your policy”
It went on to say that they couldn’t even offer a price, I was very surprised but went onto compare the market and received 250 quotes.
Is someone deliberately wrecking the company or are they no longer offering car insurance?

I’ve seen some helpful hints that Tanzania are open to outside investment but they want something in return. Not in a corrupt way but by Investment in infrastructure,local employment and payment of taxes. They may even ask for a share in the business. These are complex issues and take time and AEX should think about hiring someone with knowledge of Tanzania in an ambassadorial role.

These guys know when to hold back..... there was so much more they could have produced on that last quarter .... but hitting targets are so easy .... targets for next year will be a doddle .... they are in for the long term, confident of exploding at any time, soon to be cash rich and easily producing 100,000 ozs which I know is their aim. Once they get rid of their debts they’ll want to take on Tanzania miners who are out of favour with Tanzania but they’ll wait their chance once the milling plants are in place en situ ... thanks Barrick but you really should have treated Tanzania better! Seems like you have a block in your brain and have totally lost the plot... if you are truly invested here you wouldn’t de-ramp as you are doing.? Vat was off-set against corp tax.
SHG are covering up nothing ... you probably mean ACACIA
Please read what SHG have given to the country ..... how much have you lost by investing in this share .... it’s at an all time high ... reflecting when you got out at a low point perhaps? You sound like a paid soldier who would fight anyone, buy some shares relax and make up xxxx

It’s up and down quarter by quarter but in the end it’s up 2634oz and what’s that in financial terms usd 4million.
Gold prices are up, costs are down debt gone by August, costs decreased by 12.5% not including interest savings and the fact that VAT has been offset against corp tax is great news.
IMHO this is looking very good

Lessons to all investors of how to shoot ones self in the foot ...Whilst investing in SHG ; Use any of the following, they are all true statements;
“II was in Tanzania way back and it was so corrupt that I stayed there for years.” , “I’m invested here but don’t trust the government” “I’m in for the long term but I think I’m going to lose everything” “this is my best investment but the country is so corrupt “ .... unquote ......... I just wonder what that last persons other investments are?

I’ve revised my estimate from 85000 ounces of gold for 2019 to 88,888 ...... that’s 5 fat ladies or to be more PC 5 fat men as well.... or even more PC five extra sized persons. It’s not over TIL the oversized person sings twelve hundred dollars an ounce 88,888 x 1200 = my calculator has gone into overload...

I think you can read between the lines Barrick had to takeover from Acacia for the Government to reopen the mines. It cost Acacia dearly as they had to accept Barrick offer or fight the Government.... they didn’t have a leg to stand on. Barrick are now in partnership with Tanzania .... now that’s a good move. Cost them 16% of the mine but they have a Tanzanian promise of production facilities, meanwhile they can still ship to Asia and they have a 007 ......licence to drill. SHG have been given a forward cost of power reduction of approx £5m by working The Tanzanian way, where there’s a way there’s a drill.

You slightly misunderstood the points I made that the current Tanzanian Government/ Civil service can be trusted and even yesterday the German Ambassador agreed closer cooperation with this regime. The declarations from Acacia are well documented but I think the Guardian put it in simple terms in a colourful way but the fact is Acacia had to sell up to their bigger betters in order to play it straight with Tanzania. Meanwhile 88,000 ozs for the year is looking good at a lower cost point don’t you agree?

Tanzania are not in the wrong here and aim to work with mining companies that are fair such as SHG and Barrick Gold.

He’s kicked out the corruption and together with the likes of SHG he’s brought freshwater to 70% of the population before John Magufuli came to power, yes corruption was rife. He’s not got a good record on human rights but hey the people love him. SHG have been very helpful and are being rewarded with a cheap power source. 25% of costs are for power and this £20m cost will be halved by 2021. Working with the regime is working.

Acacia moved mountains of unrefined mining material to Asia for refining to avoid taxes as did others.

Budget for year 80-84000 ozs means they only need 16,000 from the final quarter and I reckon they’ll achieve 20-22,000 which will finish off the year very nicely. Debt down from 30m to way under 20m and they reckon to be debt free by mid-year. That’s when it will pay dividends unless they’ve made so much they’ll bring that forward. What am I missing here? Gold prices higher than ever, record production, lowest debt......is this too good to be true?

Another week of buying, someone’s already on the case... 30k is a confident buy... so I’m guessing the results are on the upper level of expectations... but what will make this sp is the expectations over the next few years not a quick profit for next weeks result.... which maybe obvious but you have to be quick if you are playing with funds you ain’t got as you are up against the masters ... they can’t live with long term results.
