Yes, it turns out that alarm bells should have been ringing loudly when it was announced that Minchin, on a salary of £227,000 pa, had subscribed for a total value of £5,000 worth of shares in the recent placing. Is that right? Only 5 grands worth. Let's see - 100,000 x 5p = £5,000. Yes, that's correct. And it brings his total holding up to 310,000 shares.

Maybe he didn't have much confidence in the rig MOU.

1,000,000 shares for £50,000 might have made sense and would have made him look like a responsible CEO but £5,000's worth makes it look like he is potentially reckless with shareholders hard earned cash.

Only the Chairman has any appreciable holding of shares. Minchin, on £227,000 pa holds shares to the value of approx. £16,275. He doesn't give a damn when they get a rig or what happens to the share price in the meantime.

I would suspect that the main reason the share price has stayed so high relative to the very bad news is because everyone who is holding these shares is so under water that they just won't sell them and take the loss.

In fact the share price has only been below 5p for 3 days during the whole of the last 2 years since this was listed and that was only for the first 3 days of trading.

However you can rest assured that at some time the buying resistance will dry up and down she will go.

Up/down; up/down; up/down - no one has a clue what's going on. As bad as the management!

Maybe the best idea would be for HE1 to raise another £10M so they are adequately funded and then get themselves a proper rig. All of this playing around with the local rig operators is just a false economy. They need to go to one of the major rig providers and pay the necessary cost. If it's expensive so what. At least they will get the drill done properly that way.

And don't forget they still haven't actually discovered Helium as yet (despite what DM keeps saying).

There seems to be a lot of RNS and planning for an acquisition that is costing a mere £37,500. Of course, there is the possibility that POW may have picked up a real bargain and the prospect is really worth millions, but I doubt it. This really is small-time acquisition that is creating a lot of fuss and talk and communication but over just about nothing. £37,500 indeed. Oh dear, oh dear.

The joke is that even if this had fallen a lot further I still wouldn't be buying back in. For that, I shall wait for the management to actually sign and appoint a drill contractor.

By the way, for HE1 to aim to drill in the dry season as they did before in 2021, the drilling contract was signed on 22nd March and the drill was spud on 14th June. That must surely be the next target to aim for.

Nothing that we didn't know already in the interview. Considering the extent of the struggle through the whole of 2022 to secure a rig, I'm not expecting too much and certainly nothing soon.

It is just a surprise how well the share price has held up. Personally, I will be happy to 'hoover' some shares up at nearer 3p than 4p or sub-5p. IPO was at 2.84p which is a good support if nothing happens for a few months.

Uncharted territory when the share price here drops below 5p - as I would predict is pretty much a certainty especially when reading the negative posts on this board, particularly regarding the management - as the share price has only been below 5p for 3 days since this was listed.

I've just been back in profit here for the first time in over a year. I didn't sell as there is so much news due and plenty of upsides but even so I am hoping that this doesn't slip all the way back down on no news!

This Land Permit business has been a big nuisance and is still the stumbling block that is holding everything up here.

There has not been any talk about finding a JV partner for HE1 but I think that this sounds a very good idea. Maybe find a major who has access to unlimited rig options!

While on the subject of Noble Helium it is interesting that they are looking for a JV partner. This is something I was thinking about recently as it would help with the cost, reduce the risk and if they can find a major to participate it could also greatly increase the chance of success.

I seem to be answering my own questions. So according to the latest update from Noble Helium - dated 19th December - with the link below:

• Drilling Manager and team in place for North Rukwa drilling program early Q3 2023 with multiple rig options under consideration
• Fully funded through drilling preparations, with farmout process underway – multiple interested parties with professional support group LAB Energy Advisors LLC engaged to ensure competitive process.

So they claim to have 'multiple rig options under consideration' - which sounds a tad optimistic considering what has been going on at HE1 HQ - but who knows.

This 2-drill exploration drilling has been planned for some time and is still the plan according to their latest presentation dated 30th November 2022.

Does anyone know what rig Noble Helium are planning to use for their 2-drill campaign starting in Q3 2023?

Just a quick question please: are they planning to frac the deep oil discovery well?

I expect they will wait until Invictus have finished their drilling and then use this Exalo drill. That would be the obvious best way to solve the rig problem.

But DM will probably keep stringing the market along by saying that they have got a rig in mind - but it will never actually turn up. And drilling will lapse from Q1 to Q2 and then to Q3 and Q4. At least HE1 won't have to worry about the rainy season.
