Totally agree with you if you have bought into this share then hold sell or stop whinging the board UBS and DLA are working on our behalf for a great deal so however much you throw your dummy it will be here when it’s here

Good analogy I liken to a post office queue you get on the shortest one that will serve you best but the other lines start going down so do you jump onto that queue or wait.

I am at an average of low 20s so not great but I understand that market’s can go up and down and my PF is 11% down but not panicking or stressed and some of them are bottom drawer stuff to look at in 3/5/10 years and I retire in 3 years so could do with the money then but I will not do knee jerk reaction as that’s when you lose the most

Fully agree and if you don’t like the way it’s being done then sell or just let them get on with the job, if you trust UBS & DLA to act within the rules they know what they are doing

I have done it twice this week
Transferred money from my bank to HL ISA account then bought shares in my ISA and sold the same amount from my Fund And Share account then when that clears transfer that money back to my bank account.
Thats OK if you have got spare cash for a few days and it has saved me thousands in tax

Russia want investment into the country so will be aware that the size of this could be great for their profile, they will not want to make theirselves look bad as in investment country so will welcome this as a world changer

The sale of Alexei shares is no problem or concern for me, twice this week I have done something similar I have sold from my Fund and Share account and bought the same amount in my ISA account only for tax purposes not as much as 29m (I wished) but how many other people have done the same while this is ongoing
This has saved me thousands in tax on my holdings so how much has he saved

I bought 5k worth 18204 in my ISA and sold the same from my Fund and Share account only for tax savings I done the same on Monday I would have like to have kept them all but it was the wife’s 5k and she wants it back
I did not want to sell them first from F&S account as knowing my luck just as I done that the FSP would land
I have no spare funds at the moment so at least it tops out my ISA

Just looked on deals and the purchase and sell that I done at 10.56 buy and the sell at 11.01 for 18204 each are both listed as buys, is that due to the spread so tight

Just bought 18204 on HL into my ISA and sold the same amount from my Fund & Share so nice tax savings no problem doing either, would like to have kept them but it was the wife’s money and she wants it back by Friday

I sold some on Monday only because I bought more in my ISA and the shares I sold were in my Fund & Share account so only for tax reasons and increased my total holdings
