I get it Shazabo, I think that by selling your shares yesterday I made £1230 after fees now I have about £830 more than the dividend so in my opinion I can wait to see if this goes anywhere near £3 and buy back in again and will be far better of than staying for dividend SP is currently £3.12

This is a BP forum so can we have a little less talk about other so called investments ,just be wary of other people’s opinions on investing elsewhere after all every person should make there own judgement call with there own money , I have made my own choice over 35 years and a Dont listen to people who talk about other business tips as I do not see what more they know than I can or anyone could find out themselves .BeCareful

To sell today was a good move IMO because of this drops tomorrow it could well be another £3 entry point and you would of made far more by taking your profit than any dividend and you have the opportunity of getting back in at good levels ,I made 2 and half times what the dividend was so will be looking for a good entry again ,good luck

Shazabo I’m out my friend and will look to buy back in over next few business days ,am happy with my profit 2 and half times divi so will see where buy in price is soon good luck with your decision

As you say a profit is profit and as I think that after ex dividend date the sp could well be under £3.20 worth taking cash profits now and buying back in ,that’s why after over 30 years dealing I have done well by having the discipline to accept when your happy with whatever profit comes your way , will look close at this around 12 good luck

Shazabo ,I am mate am considering wether to sell now that the price is above £3.20 as at these levels I would get £1350 less fees against about £536 dividend will decide by lunchtime

I’m in Shazabo at £3 and have set a price of £3.30 which would make a nice profit in less than a week but would probably take a bit less as dividend would get just over £500 and I would rather buy back in again mate good luck and let’s hope your right about the open tomorrow

Shazabo if it goes up like today I’m selling what I bought 5 days ago as that will make me 3 times more than the dividend short term and then buy back in long term after ex dividend date

Just for you I’m in at £3 bought 5 days ago for the dividend it if it goes a fair bit higher tomorrow will sell because the return is greater

Not to sound patronising but it’s easy mate you just pick a starting point what you think is best for you and wait for rise ,if no rise you wait but at these present times there I’ll be a rise just be patient it does work trust me !
