The trading range here seems to be getting narrower..support seems to be around the 82p mark and resistance @around 89p..difficult to know how much of the last fall was to do with whats been going on across the pond..hopefully the breakout when it eventually arrives will be favourable but its a long time coming...Jack..in the words of the Teardrop Explodes "When will you get your Reward" ?GL...

David I do understand your frustration and anger but what exactly are you blaming the BOD for? running a profitable company? one of the few aim companys paying a dividend..and what is it that you expect them to do? stand on the street corner telling everyone why they should invest in them? you talk of excellence but the problem here is more to do with aim than gdp...rules are different here than with blue chips..aim is more like a cattle market than the normal stock market..take your anger out on aim not GDP& its directors...

A brilliant post highlighting some very good points......but why the little deramp at the end? and where do you get this 4p from? is it some calculation that you have arrived at? or just a figure pulled out of thin air..GL

Hi Nick and welcome to the GDP friendly bb..a few of us myself included have experienced similar problems recently and are still none the wiser. .but good luck with your trades...

Its impossible to predict the presise time to lock in profits..but a profit is better than a loss and a small loss is better than a big loss..if we could get it right all the time then we would indeed be wealthy..I suppose its all about risk and reward..how many times have we, day after day watched a share gently climb the chart only to see it fall right back to the first rung of the ladder in one foul swoop....

Not really been away, still hold my bloated paperloss here, but not so bad as it once was..not been that eventfull on the dow so I have put that on the backburner for a little while..I have done extreemly well with Abg doubled up there..so not all bad..have a wedge riding on gdp with a rather bearish chart..hopeing for a breakout there soon...think I could be running out of songs...but in the words of Sandie Shaw, always somthing there to remind me...

Untill a couple of years ago Tesco ruled our nearby Town with no real competition..now there is Lidl, Aldi,Sbry & Co Op...Was the highlight of my week going to Tesco (I fancied the girl on the checkout)..but that was never going to happen..so now I go mostly to Lidl.. My son works for Sbry and gets a fair discount. .also share options. .now I find shopping dull & sad., microwave meals for one can be very lonley and not all that nourishing...

Unfortunatly the UT trade is a uncrossing trade where the books are balanced at the end of day..so it is not classed as a buy or sell whatever the case might be. .

The chart looks good on UEN.. Been quite good on some of the Goldies this week also....been busy this week. .up at 4.30 this morning travelled from Hereford to Felixstowe and then back home to North Oxon. ...now feel wacked..catch up over the weekend..

Bby was my best one today..I thought mwa would possibly hold above the 2p but it was not to be..still early days and Well in profit so not to bad..emg starting to look interesting if it can get past the 90p and hold..I did try to buy a few viy late but the closing bell beat me...

Considering its a fairly red day across the boards the s/p seems to be holding up quite well...positioned still to test the recent 92 p resistance if it can get past that and hold the next move is the psycological barrier of £1 but obviously much depends on the remainder of the week GL..

Sadly you are reading correct.he bravely tried trading the dips as we do from time to time..only it was not a dip and unfortunatly missed his entry..but you cant keep a good man down..he will get back aboard when we have a retrace..ATB...

Yes a great day ..unfortunatly I tried to buy more mwa this morning and had difficulty..could only present the to the market for best offer and felt uneasy about it so never bothered..but never mind ..Aim seems to be picking up again..Sold my vog and made 30% so that pays for a few dogs and mwa ,now well into profit...bought some more gdp this morning..looks liked the RNS was well liked here..I keep looking at VIY but cant make my mind up..could it drop to the offer price? so much buying and yet it dosent rise ? anyway have a good evening..

Thanks for that Maltman.I did notice that the s/p had taken a fall also Mothercare likewise..but I must confess to not knowing very much about either so some research needed on my part..Jack.I have traded EVR a couple of times in the past year but not in a big way and both times with leaverage..and I wish you all the best if you are getting back into it at a time when I am getting out of it.and for all the reasons we mentioned a few days ago..I think you have to be a certain kind of animal to keep up the pace..personally I just want a less stressful life and to save money on the shoe leather..with my endless pacing...ATB..
